Tucker
Finished up an ETL and a Maker's 46 this weekend. The ETL will be replaced, the 46 likely won't.
Parkersback
Van Winkle Family Reserve Rye. This bottle just got better and better as it went. What a nice whiskey.
SMOWK
Van Winkle Family Reserve Rye. This bottle just got better and better as it went. What a nice whiskey. To me, those are possibly the hardest bottles to throw away. Yet at the same time, the easiest to diminish. My will holds strong, and my bottle stays full. Until another day, when I'm in need of some good lovin'.

Halifax
Van Winkle Family Reserve Rye. This bottle just got better and better as it went. What a nice whiskey.Same thing taking place here. Enjoying the last pour of VWFRR as well. I wish that I had the will power of some here. VWFRR is one of a handful of bottles that don't last very long around my house. When the cork gets cracked... the bottle is rubbish within the week.

emr454
This week I killed a Mellow Corn, EW BIB, and Rebel Yell. I didn't find much interesting about the RY until I got to the last pour. For some reason, it just wasn't as bland as normal last night.Eric
nor02lei
I finished a Wishlepig rye today. I t was pretty good, but not much better than Bulleit rye for a far less price, so I won’t try to replace it.Leif
Young Blacksmith
Finished off an EWSB '99 last night, and dug into an older Old Forester 100 proof. The OF was really sweet, which surprised me.

jeanraulmitchell
I'm finishing off a PVW20yo tonight. It's from this spring. It's always sad when emptying a Pappy. Luckily, I still have 3 of my favorite PVW15 from this spring too. Hopefully for a reasonable price, I'll stock up on ORVW10 107 when I visit TN this week. It's $50 a bottle here. I think a bottle for home and a bottle at work will get me through until the fall allocation. If not, I guess I'll have to take a 15yo from the vault, take it out of the crate, the foam, the plastic and nurse it back to life!

StraightBoston
Four Roses Yellow Label (whiskey smashes for my wife) and Woodford Reserve (Old-Fashioneds for me) bit the dust during Irene. The backup 4R is already open; the WR will not be replaced.WR and AAA 10yo made stellar Old Fashioneds; the ones made with EW 12/101 and Makers 46 were not as well-balanced (I had some time to experiment...) BradleyC
I finished a Willett 2 year rye this week. The bottle lasted longer than I thought it would. It was good, but like many of the other 95%-100% rye mashbills I've had, I ended up mixing most of it with ginger. I'll replace it with a 3 year version if I place an online order somewhere and need an extra bottle to bring the shipping cost per bottle down. It is a pretty good value for a bp rye even though it is so young.
