PVW - 15 x 3

I was on lists at stores I don't even remember calling.

My bunker has overflowed by multiple cases.

Put me in the Whiskirexia support group, please.

Dusty Old Forester BiB, one of my favorites! All the OF from the 80s that I have had is very good.

Man, hope I can find one of the OGD dusties one day soon. Pretty impressive, especially since I don't think OGD ever hit this area with the old bottles, hunting not so much fun in Alabama.

WT 101 8 Year (liter)

ND OGD 86 1990 (liter) *3

Old Forester 86 (375) - not sure of year, but there's no surgeon general's warning

Left a bunch of AAA 10 year and AAA 90 sitting on the shelf, as well as some old Dickel...is the old Dickel stuff any good?

Huh, go figure. I was out just casually shopping in a couple local beer shops and in our state run monopoly ABC liquor store, looking for something that might provide motivation to reach into my pocket to buy something.

Low and behold at the ABC store was a lone bottle of PVW12 Lot B. Not a bad little find for Virginia and it's not even the fall release period. They got only a couple bottles in a few days ago.

Went to a couple of small SC towns and scored 3 1.75 bottles of OGD 86 from 1984, 2 1.75 bottles of Old Fitz from 1995 (they had a lot more but I wanted to make sure I liked it), 1 bottle of Old Forester 86 proof from 1995 and 1 bottle of Four Roses Blended. I have wanted a bottle just to compare.

Strange that they had about 2 dozen bottles of Ten High Ten in the tin cases for 18.95. I passed because I already have several and while it is not bad it is not great.

They also had a bunch of Wild Turkey in Octagonal bottles. Never seen any like it. Didn't get any because i figured they would be around for awhile.

Also found a great BBQ place.

I hope you like it more than I do. I was/am very disappointed with it.

He really likes the more nuanced pours and prefers he FRSmB over the SB, so it is right up his alley.

Upon further review of the bottle of ER 17 i picked up yesterday it was distilled in fall 1982 and bottled in summer 2000.

I picked up a 2008 WLW (didn't realize it wasn't this year's until I got it home and checked online) for my Dad for his 60th and my first bottle of WT KS for me.

Col. E.H. Taylor, JW Dant BIB, 4R 100th, 4R 2010 Limited, 4R small batch, and BT White Dog....

I've heard mixed reviews on the Dant. I'll have to make it my next pour.

Picked up a few of the Julio's Baby Saz single barrel.... very nice expression of the Saz as well as a decent value...

Guilty as charged.

I had my first sip of the yellow and fell in love all over again.

Even though I told myself that I was done for the weekend. Costco had Weller 12 for 15 bucks! Had to pick a few up.

And I thought the 19.98 (before tax) that I got it for was a good bargain!

I wish Weller 12 came to Costco in Atlanta!

Luckily the Costco's here try to carry some relatively decent bourbon. I've picked up several VW and BT releases from the Costcos here as well.
