Binny's Weller 12 or should I say 14. Yep, two were left but no more. Also KC single barrel. Binny's has some sale prices that started today with WTKS, newer versions of course, I'm gonna say $35 but I'm a tad distracted today so don't spear the messenger. $5 down on the FRSB barrel proofs, Handy and ER 17 too. Ran out of cash but as always, I'll be back.

Recently picked up a Willett Rye 2yr old. Haven't had one of these before and and always a sucker for a something new. It seems to have some decent reviews by folks from what I remembered, so it was worth a shot.

Same day was at another store, and saw the 3yr version of this, but passed on it, already had some JPS 17yr in hand. Another time perhaps.

I'm almost ashamed to post this based on the quality in here, but I picked up some JBW today, it was on sale, and was priced cheaper than the OC8 and WLWSR I was debating between.

Was in western NY over the weekend and found a store with some great prices- picked up an Old Pogue, WTKS 09, and 6 bottles of the 90 proof JD Limited edition. 5 made it through the weekend...now just need my shipment to arrive.

I had a case of AAA 10 delivered before my trip north. It's my understanding that AAA 10 is only sold in Kentucky as I have never found it anywhere I've been outside of Kentucky. I have to order anything besides what I call "Well Bourbons" and shipping eats my lunch. Whenever I go out of town I load up on bourbon I can't get in Southeast New Mexico. My recent trip has left my bunker in pretty good shape for a while.

The only current AAA in Georgia is AAA 10 Star....I've found a few dusty AAA 10 Year though. I bought a handle of AAA 10 Year a few weeks ago so I'm good for a while. I don't drink it that often, but it's typically a pretty good pour when I do.

Picked up two bottle of Pappy 20 year for $80 each. The guy said it had been in the store several years and was tired of looking at it.

??? Since when does Binny's have a special bottling of this? According to my info, they have a bottling of the 7/107 coming in end of July, but I've seen hint nor hair of this "12 or should I say 14" variety. Care to elaborate?

Search for Binnys Weller 12 in the forums, there have been multiple threads here about it.

The Binny's Weller 12 in question, was done in 2009. It was 14 year 3 month old bourbon from Bernheim. Joe

I had no idea any of this was left. I would have brought a SWAT team with me on my recent trip to Chicago to plunder every Binny's in the area. I've read the threads about it, I just assumed it was completely gone.

I bought some Binny's Weller 12 about a month ago at a subuurban location.

But today, I found some DSP 16 Old Fitz way north burbs. About 10 baby bottles.

It is only 8 pm but I am cracking one and probably gonna drain it. Like in the next hour. Mmmm.

Some Lot B, some baby Saz, and a little bottle of Grand-Dad for a friend who said that he loved Basil Hayden's. I'm gonna see if I can save this man some money...

Nothing. After my recent trip to Minnesota my bunker is overflowing and my liquor cabinet is full. When the wife starts giving me the evil eye it's time to stop for a while. Need to drink up what I have before anymore additions.

Went to get a birthday present for one of my employees (Bacardi Limon-- blech!!) at one of the bigger names in town and picked up a Henry McKenna single barrel for myself. I've always been curious about this one and the fact that it was 10% off sealed the deal.

Also picked up a 375 of Camarena Blanco out of curiosity.

And, I almost forgot, amidst the sea of samples was JD Single Barrel. Not bad at all but maybe not worth the premium price. I passed on the JD honey, though.

I bought a PVW 20 earlier in the week at my usual place and they had 5 left on the shelf. I went back today and they were all gone:hot: So I bought a Hudson Baby bourbon to try instead.

Received a box from a buddy of mine in Georgia today...a bottle of 4R Yellow Label, Small Batch and Single Barrel was inside.

Insert Southern Hospitality story here...

I grabbed a couple cases of WL Weller SR Everett's selection today; at 25 bucks for a 1.75L it makes a phenomenal dirt cheap everyday pour. Also grabbed a couple handles of Fleischmann's Rye, another nice, everyday, tasty - for 80 proof - Rye. Unfortunately all I've been able to find is the plastic handles and would much rather have a glass bottle.

OGD114 for the bunker and a Russel's Reserve 10/90 (I've never had the latter before).
