Inspired, I'm having a healthy pour of Rock Hill Farms.

Really love this stuff.

May follow that w something to be named in the rye thread...

Oscillating between a dusty OF 86, a dusty JW Dant, and a McKenzie rye. The JW Dant is just awesome, starts off with a little old charter, and settles in with a great sweetness. I seem to be picking up a bit of bitterness on the sides of the tongue tonight too, not sure if it was something I ate or my palate the last few days.

WT 101. At my brother's place and the pickens are a bit slim. (Relatively speaking, of course) Not a bad pour by any means, but I would have had my sights set a bit higher today.

Just another night of OWA and ETL. I think I could survive with just these 2 and be content if I had too. Fortunately I don't have too.

All of the talk about HH's new Larceny had me reach for the VSOF. It's not bad at all, but overpriced when compared to other solid, lower-priced HH bottles. Here's hoping Larceny is a noticeable improvement.

Noah's Mill Bourbon. Remarkable! I'd have to say it is my absolute favorite. (Sorry...I realized after posting that this is the Rye section and I mentioned a Bourbon. But it is remarkable stuff!)

Lovely cool evening last night, but I was having trouble falling asleep.

I grabbed a favorite book and a healthy pour of the Julio's (Series VII, I think, the most recent) bottling of Rock Hill Farms. After a chapter or two, I was ready for bed and sleep.

This RHF is seriously good whiskey -- nice to see some other fans of it on the thread...

...And on the other end of the specrum. Old Fitz 1849 (HH 90 proof NAS) was someting I bought while visiting Louisville a few years ago. I got two bottles. I just opened the one I had saved. It's ok; upper bottom shelf. Since it's a wheater maybe it will open up a little  But hey, you have to try different things to find out what's good.

Had some FRSB the other night I love that stuff.
You can say that again. I had some FRSB last night and, like always, was amazed that such excellent whiskey could be had for under $35. Awesome!

Yes, The Elijah Craig 12 is excellent but the Eagle Rare is superb (to me).

(Wanna go to heaven? Try some Noah's Mills! Transcendental!)

I'm in the city (Chicago). Where have you seen the ER10 101 around?

Also, love me some EC12, but ER10 wins by a few inches in my book (we all know this is an apples v. oranges debate).
