hectic1
Brought a sample from a bottle of ORVW 10/107 that I've had open for about 9 months and I've poured from twice...this one definitely has gotten better while sitting dormant on the bar! It was pretty hot when I first opened it hence why I hadn't poured from it more but now I'm getting some nice fruit and a hit of wood on the finish. stevegoz
Enjoyed the heck out of some standard-issue 4RSB last night. Found again that I'm not nearly as fond of the 4RSmB.
gcsjr
Another pour of Old Heaven Hill BIB. Very nice. I wish I could find a place around here that sold this.

Luna56
A big, fat pour of this year's Handy. So glad the election is over. It may be another four years before this Handy opens up, it's tighter than a bull's ass in horsefly season.Cheers to all!
jeanraulmitchell
Great idea on the Jefferson's 17 since I just found another bottle of it, wish I would've thought of it. But...Parker's Heritage 2012 takes on a new level of tastiness. Edited November 7, 2012 by jeanraulmitchell

Clavius
Just drinking some plain old WT101 tonight. Nothing special. I struck out on BTAC this year and will probably end up doing the same on PVW this release. Kind of a bummer. But then I remind myself that over the past few years I managed to get (and subsequently drink) several bottles of every ORVW/PVW offering (minus the prohibitively expensive 23yr). So I'm one of the lucky ones I guess. Hopefully somebody out there who is genuinely enthusiastic about bourbon was able to get their hands on a bottle of PVW for the first time this release and enjoys it. But I fear that PVW has become a status symbol that know-nothings clamor for just so they can say they have a bottle.
gcsjr
Plain old MM for me. Pretty good. I'm beginning to think there really is no bad bourbon. :-)
Ejmharris
Opened two bottles of bourbon today because the open category has dwindled recently and just realized all I have open is rye. The first was the 2012 PHC. Wow, big boy with a big flavorProfile. The marriage of wood, sweet wheat and rye are fantastic in this one. I can't wait for a tasting with my brother and neighbor. Te second bottle was equally enjoyable to me for less than half the price. It was the TPS 4R's SB offering from last year. I do love some of the gems that Jay comes across. TradingBoiler
Popped open the Binny's hand picked Willet 8 yo Wheater. This is the most complex under 10 year old bourbon I've ever tasted. Starts with loads of dark fruits followed by some oak mid palate and finishes with vanilla and nougat that lasts forever. So little burn and very drinkable at barrel proof 122.1. I'm going to pick up a couple more bottles of this Saturday at the SB get together.
DaveOfAtl
Rock Hill Farms. To be honest, the RHF was so good last night that I felt a little silly for spending so much time and effort tracking down the yearly releases. Glad to know there are fantastic bourbons like this that I can find on the shelves.

Ejmharris
Enjoying some New Holland Beer Barrel Bourbon and 2007 WLWSent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk 2I saw the beer barrel a couple of different times he last couple of days. It has my interest but also make me laugh. It is aged in the new holland dragons milk barrels that was aged in bourbon barrels. Cycle of life, I suppose. savagehenry
Finished off a bottle of WLW12, then enjoyed some WTRR10. I always like a rye based bourbon after a wheater as the rye becomes so pronounced. Now some Lot B as I catch up on Boardwalk Empire.
