What did you think of the 4R? I don't think of you as much of a 4R fan (because of all of the dusties I guess.)
michaelturtle1
Pics man! What did you think of the 4R? I don't think of you as much of a 4R fan (because of all of the dusties I guess.) Aside from OESO I have not liked four roses at all, at my last large tasting a fellow SB'er brought a bottle of 2012 SMBLE and I fell in love with it.. Found 3 bottles of the '13 and love it just as much..only problem is the wife won't let me near it!! Most of the four rose expressions leave a spoiled fruit taste on my palate, the SMBLE and OESO are the only exceptions
smknjoe
As always, that's some good drinkin'...Thanks for obliging, Mike. The 2011 SmBLE is what really turned me on to Four Roses. Before that I had a hard time with the standard stuff. They seemed overly hot and floral and almost perfume like. However, I enjoy the standard offerings these days. I do prefer the barrel proofers though.

snifred
I have to say that seeing these pics of empty FR LESmB bottles is impressive and infuriating at the same time. I've struck out in multiple states and over 40 stores looking for it. The only 2 I found were priced at $199.99 which isn't worth it to me. Glad you're all enjoying it, but I hope I can enjoy some soon too!
