jeffrey r
Emptied a liter of AAA 10 Yr tonight. And now, I will use the AAA empty to hold Old Charter 10 from my handles. In the bourbon cycle of life, this bottle will live on.

mbroo5880i
I emptied a bottle of OGD114. This saddens me because this bottle was purchased during my last visit to the Commonwealth of Kentucky last June. It is available in Indiana so I will replace it at some point. BFerguson
FR LE single barrel 2012. For being just slightly more than 51%, it sure needed water to bring out it's potential. Last three glasses have been the most enjoyable out of the bottle once I got it down.B

black mamba
I finally drained my last VWFRR last night, the last of my Pappy's of any kind. Probably my last ever, with the current craze. That old rye was surely very special juice.

JKLS
Opened a bottle of Old Medley Brothers yesterday at a friend's New Years Day party. Wasn't quite empty when I left it there, but it was close and the remaining guests were still drinking. I enjoyed it and will buy another bottle at some point. Thanks, it was fun while it lasted and I have no regrets.since we share tastes on a number of things, how was that WFE rye? I considered it then thought, "hell it'll be like every other sourced rye on the shelf"
Paddy
since we share tastes on a number of things, how was that WFE rye? I considered it then thought, "hell it'll be like every other sourced rye on the shelf"I loved it! It's young, unbalanced, hot, spicy and full of attitude....what else could a guy want? :kiss:Seriously....this bottle needed a little air time to settle it down. :hot:Thankfully, it settled down and opened up nicely over time, with a wonderful bouquet and lush mouthfeel all jam packed with a candied fruit and spice flavor. The finish is initially mild and medium in length (with an appropriate come back/afterburner of course). It did remain unbalanced throughout, but I really grew to appreciate it for what it is/was. Based on your preferences, I think you would have enjoyed this bottle. I certainly did!
