Suntour - I'm definitely on the 4R band wagon (have two cases of a store select in my bunker) and just recently got a ECBP (about two weeks after Atl starting seeing it). While it's not as perfect as the first ones I bought and consumed it still a might fine bourbon. I am going to empty this one a little slower.

This pic from a couple of days ago, been drinking the latest 128 proof one. Right now, I haven't had the wow moment and I love the ECBP. Need to spend more time here. Wondering what other had found.

Still like it.

Has anyone realized this issue yet? The two on the left I have had for a year or so. Picked them up in a sealed box. The one on the right I picked up today in a completely different city.... look at the proof and percent numbers. Someone printed the wrong ones.post-8988-14489822250037_thumb.jpgpost-8988-14489822250037_thumb.jpg

So now the question is, are the two on the left release #1 (134.2) or release #4 (132.4).

Haven't finished my #5 yet, have a #6 in the cabinet...why am I thinking about getting a #7?

Of course, I have some time, #6 didn't show up around here until just before #7 came out...

I saw some Batch 7 this weekend too. Kind of weird a late wave, apparently. Seems like Batch 8 should be showing up soon.

what kind of prices are y'all paying? if you don't mind my asking.

$59 seems to be the new going rate around here.

For the folks buying #7. ...... Is this a second release of #7 to your market or the first time you are seeing it? Thanks.

Batch #6 was $49.99 in Minneapolis at a small liquor store, perhaps the big box stores would have sold it at a bit less. That store (2 locations) only received 3 bottles total. I bought Batch #7 in San Francisco while on vacation. It was overpriced ($69.99), but I figured that I may not be able to locate this batch at home, so pulled the trigger.

#7 is 140.2? How is it & how does it compare to #1 or #3?

We are swimming in this stuff

That's release #6...I wonder if WA is swimming in the stuff because of the tax structure. Given that Total Wine has it @ $57, that makes the out-the-door price in WA $71.50. That definitely changes the value proposition...

That, or for some reason, WA just gets a massive allocation...

The tax structure here doesn't prevent anything else that is even remotely considered to be limited to fly off the shelves so I think we just get a massive allocation. Weller 12, OWA, and ETL don't last long here, but in some parts of the country you can get plenty of the two Wellers but can't even sniff at a ECBP.

I guess so...my perspective might be skewed since I live so close to OR. I look at $50 or $71 and ask myself why I should buy it in WA?

Picked up #7 today for $53.99. Left the 3 bottles of #6 (140 proof) on the shelf as I already have a bottle. I now have batch #5, 6 and 7. Hope to do a side by side by side tasting soon but need to get my palate back in order as I took about a week off and drank mojitos, pina coladas, and rum in general while on vacation.
