Found a lot more batch 1 in the beginning. Not much 2 or 3 after people realize from batch 1 that it was good and special. Also vendor started to charge more after batch 1 too.

I had the opposite experience. Batch 1 was allocated and then I found Batch 2 and Batch 3 on the shelf. Granted - I found Batch 3 out in Idaho not my home state of GA. This supports the theory that the Pac NW is flush with Batch 3.

I know where 6 bottles of batch three sit.... for $59.99. skipped on them all as I have two batch three bunkered. I think the obvious price hike is making them sit around alot longer

Only a handful on 3 packs made it to MS and the stores that got it only got one case each. Batch 2. I got my batch 3 out of TN

Might want to give this a second thought. This batch 3 may be the best bourbon I have ever tasted .. and at prices well below the BTAC's and others ... just don't know of a better bargain for such a complete whiskey. I'd get all I could get my hands on. California's a hell of a drive from Florida though.

None of batch 1 or 2 made it here and I got the only bottle of batch 3 that my dealer received. For $49.99 it might one of the finest Bourbons that have ever graced my lips.

i trully savor every pour.

Excellent! I hope to acquire a bottle or three based on the strong recommendations!

I did a SBS of batches 1 and 3 a while back, I believe in this thread. I came to the conclusion that 3 was better, in that it does everything batch 1 does, just a bit better IMO.

I saw three bottles of batch 3, and bought 2. Should have bought all 3.

It did make a brief stop here a few months back (at least at one shop!) I've got a batch 3 open, and can bring that on Saturday as well. I was just thinking today "What in the hell am I going to bring?", and everything is just falling into place!

I have seen this in one store for a cool $89.99, to which I gave a hearty HELL NO. Can't wait to try it for a reasonable price

ECBP made an appearance in Louisville today. There appeared to be a couple left. PM if interested.

What was the proof on this one? Assuming it's batch 4?

I'll always pick these up if and when I see them, but have enough put back at this point that I won't be going through any superheroic type efforts to get em.

Got an email from DrinkupNY today that ECBP was in stock.

By the time i could get to the site and try to add to my cart, it was all gone...

So this just happened to me as well a few minutes ago. I saw the email come in and within seconds clicked it and it was already gone. So i called, and they said that even though it was on that email blast the bottles were already sold out. They had a waiting list they all went to. bizarre

Well, I guess I can quit trying to add it to my cart, in the hopes that someone else's order failed...

I fear this is the "new normal" with these premium limited releases. Spoken for and gone before you know it. Not just PVW and BTAC anymore--FRLE, OFBB, ECBP, etc. I feel fortunate to have bought two batch 1 and two batch 3, with about 2.5 bottles left. But in retrospect, I should have bought the other couple I passed up. I mixed up another batch of ECBP/EC12 barrel select last evening. A great pour, and nimble to move up and down with a 50/50 proof of 114.

i just wonder how long that'll keep up with ECPB though since they'll keep releasing it. OFBB was the one that surprised me. There were THOUSANDS of cases of that stuff. I had one chance to buy one bottle on a shelf. Similar reports abound.

I imagine it will always take a little luck to run into this one, at least where I'm located. But... the fact that they intend to release multiple waves a year certainly improves everyone's chances of at least seeing it on the shelves. I'm more concerned about the cost rising. If it's anywhere below $70-75, I think it's worth it. Above that, I would need to evaluate how it compares to other bottles I'm interested in.
