suntour
Evan Williams Bottled-in-Bond. Excited about tasting this with a few other Heaven Hills, notably ECBP, EWSB, and OHHBIB. Haven't tasted it yet, but of course I cracked the top the second I got it home. A much different nose than OHHBIB immediately noted. Will post thoughts later in the drinking thread. Enoch
Made my bi-annual trip to Augusta to pick up 4 cases of WSR. For some reason it is much cheaper in GA...19.95/1.75. In Columbia it runs $33-$35/1.75. Hopefully this will get me through the Christmas Season. While there I found a couple of bottles of JD Black 86 proof (never tried), a couple of bottles of WTRye 101 and a neat old-timey looking handle of JD in a glass case...the centennial edition I think. He gave it to me for $80. May not be much better than regular JD but a nice looking bottle to take to a party.

I need to pick one of those up, as it's been awhile since I've purchased the NSA version, and there have been reports that it has greatly improved recently. Have you opened it, yet? Have you opened it, yet?Joe, haven't cracked it open yet, but I think it will be next up when I finish another bottle. My shelf is literally full. Both the Old Fitz 1849 and the FC 103 are my first bottles of each, so looking forward to trying them. At $16 for the Old Fitz, it was minimal risk. theglobalguy
Final haul from the road trip to Nashville and back. The Brenne is a French Single Malt finished in Cogniac barrels. Yummy stuff. Left 4 more of the 4R on the shelf in Central KY and managed a taste of the EC21 before buying (way smoother than i expected, as i've not had higher aged product like this before). Also tried some HW21, hell of a kick, but i'm not enough a cowboy to have jumped at it.
