all at the same store, so I walked away from the "special case" and got the last Macallan CS off the shelf for $57.

Those are the same bottles Tigerlam passed up last week. Ridiculous considering the ER17 there last year was at $100 (or $109, i dont recall exactly)

I passed Rare Breed for $32.99. Nothing special and I am sure that it can occasionally be found cheaper. However, tomorrow is Turkey Day. I thought about buying but opted to same my $$. I have WT101 and WTR101 for tomorrow. I did pass on WTR101. The price was a little too high, $26.99.

This, in all aspects. In theory, I can see what the Hendersons were thinking: to wait and capitalize on perceived unspent $ in pockets of those who missed out on snagging any BTAC or PVW or 4R LEs; on the other, it seems like BTAC & PVW & 4R LEs weren't all *that* hard to come by, so that perception might not be backed up by stats. That, plus NAS NDP, as has been noted before. Still, I'd be lying if I said I didn't stand in the store twice this week, hold that CS in my hands and wonder...

We just got a Costco here in Lexington. I went in their liquor/wine shop for the first time today and passed on some great deals. No limited releases or anything special per se, just great prices all around. A drive across town for me to get there but damn their prices were great... on everything.

Passed up on some ORVW 10/107 yesterday. The bottle caught my eye as I was at the register. I asked about the price and it rang up for $118! They only had two bottles I was told and I let them keep it.

I keep passing on a 2006 bottle of WTKS, wishing it was just a few years older. Also passed on a Michters 20 Year for $600. Not sure why I even touched the bottle to check, I'd hate for the 'you break it, you buy it' policy to be enforced on that one!

I passed on some ETL at the local grocery store. They had nine bottles out, pulled them all down and looked at the date codes, 3 from 2011, 3 from 2012, and 3 from 2013. Guess they aren't very popular here.

Don't we all, I'm glad I bunkered a fair share of the PHC4, never got a PHC1, I tried to trade a PHC4 for a PHC1 a while back and the guy wanted 2 for 1, I passed.

I've passed so far a store has "Pappy Van Winkle Christmas Gift Pack has just been released. It includes Pappy(really ORVW) 10 year old, Eagle Rare Single Barrel, Buffalo Trace, & Corner Creek Reserve. Gift Pack price $200. Very Limited Quantities" except there's no Pappy in the package. Total Msrp retail is $125.96. To add insult to injury ERSB, BT, CCR are all on sale the next state over. So the bottle of ORVW 10 is $124.03 3 times the price not surprised just dissappointing
