Saw another WT Tradition, this time at $99. Though I will probably go back for that eventually.

Also, passed on RHF for $39. Haven't seen it in a while, but I was purchasing other things.

Left 4-5 Booker's 25th and 3 Weller 12 on the shelf. Amazingly, they're at or near normal prices. Just a smaller place that's a bit out of the way.

Bookers is easy for me to find but the Weller 12 is just about as rare as Pappy in my area of Northern California. I had to buy my Weller 12 in Vancouver, Canada for $45 then bring it back across the border!

Wow, I've been cogitating buying a lone VSOF for $45 for a couple years now. I know this is not a reasonable price, but sometimes we do unreasonable things (not very often, thankfully).

I happened to be on the North side of Indy yesterday, so I did a little hunting. I stopped at a place where I found some W12 in the past. I asked the guy if they had any ECBP. He said they just got some in. He started looking through some mixed cases. I asked the price. He said $70. I told him it's good, but not $70 good.

I passed up on some ETL, but only because I have a couple bottles already. I almost panicked and bought one because it has been gone so long , but I took a deep breath and moved on.

I passed on some ETL today as well with four already bunkered. I also passed on some WTRR Single Barrel at $50.

Those passing on ETL, buy it and send it my way! Can't find an available bottle at all these days!

The only time I've seen it in Indy it was $70. I also passed.

I was able to get it for $39 in April.

That reminds me of the guy who has standard Four Roses Single Barrel on sale for $130.

If you're going to gouge people...uh, I mean take advantage of the current market like a smart business owner should...at least get the products straight.

If they also have THH at $190, I have seen the same four roses single barrel bottles. They looked standard to me, so I asked the lady behind the register what the deal was with them. She told me the owner was confused, thought they were special, marked them up and would not listen when he was told they were standard. At least they have a nice reasonably prices scotch section.

Not bourbon but I passed on a 40 year old Kirkland Single Malt Scotch for $599.99 at Costco tonight.

I think that's the Glenlivet 40 year old. If it was bottled by Glenlivet, easily go for twice as much. $699.99 here in Cali.

Same store probably. Too bad I don't like scotch. See my sig. and then see Pete's...

a slew if private Dickel bottlings

I can barely walk past them without grabbing a few. Found a new 2014 load last week, and will be back to grab more.....I mean, I only have 8 left!

Left a boat load of Barterhouse on the shelf during my trip to SC. All under 79.99. Was tempted, but I still passed, spending $1600 on insulation this week, so figured my $80 needed to come home with me.

I hate when responsible home ownership gets in the way of whiskey. Good news is you'll probably still find it at $80 around here for a while yet.

Any whiskey in a hot house tastes like crap, Ha!

Gosh. Sometimes I hate living in a control state, but some of these places you guys are talking about charging double and triple retail for Stagg Jr, ECBP, ETL, etc... I feel sorry for y'all! Places like that wouldn't get my business, no matter how badly I wanted something. My local store doesn't get everything special (looking at you Booker's 25th...), but more than enough to keep my collection modestly enviable.

I keep passing up Stagg Jr. Batch 1 at a local place. Keep hoping to see Batch 2 show up :(.

Also I've passed over Barterhouse so many times now, it's laughable. There are now a dozen bottles sitting at MSRP at my grocery store. Maybe in 5-6 months they'll knock 30% off.
