Tony Santana
Well, I guess I could buy an OBH and a Barterhouse, but I'd still be a couple years shy. It's my 29th anniversary today. Should I go with a EC12 and an ER17, or a VOS19 with a ER10?
squire
All four just to be sure.
flahute
What squire said. You need a good practice run before the official celebration.
Tony Santana
Good points, guys. Maybe I should warm up with a Pappy 20 and a KCSB just to be sure.
jeffrey r
Was holding a Barterhouse in my hand for $77, and ended up putting it back on the shelf in favor of an '04 EWSB and Fighting Cock for $38 total.
bourboNcigars
That's what I would have done, considering it's 20 year bourbon it's amazing how easy it is to find every store I go to is stocked fully on it, one binnys in downtown Chicago had 6 sealed cases on the floor and a shelf full of 10 bottles
GaryT
Not bourbon, but passed on an AE Rye (first time I've seen it on the shelf in ATL, although heard of its appearance in recent weeks). $80 isn't unreasonable for it, and I do really like it, but just find myself picturing where to put the damn thing in the cabinet. Think I need to make some room first (and hopefully find it a few bucks less).

amg
Sampled the Breckenridge bourbon at a store tasting and it was surprisingly decent, but not $42 decent so I didn't grab one.

I couldn't wait to empty the bottle because it didn't fit in the cabinet.

Phil T
Passed on some bottles that I normally would have bought, still may go back and get a couple: WFE bourbon 8yr, OC 10yr.
393foureyedfox
Passed on some bottles that I normally would have bought, still may go back and get a couple: WFE bourbon 8yr, was it sub-$60, or the new price? sub-$60, even my cheap ass would consider it. I *think* I've seen this for as low as $119, although it just isn't right in my wheelhouse at any price north of $100. Keep hoping one of the stores will get sick of it sitting in their cabinet and maybe put it on sale for $89 or $
