Was surprised to see Stagg Jr. in a Va ABC store so I decided to stock up at $49.90 a bottle.

Was finally able to acquire a FRSmBLE2014 thanks to a generous SBer. Also picked up a store select Blanton's and another Petite Cellars SAOS 8 to replace the one a fellow SBer needed. For drinking.

Totally stoked to have jump started my private selection four roses collection thanks to a fellow sb'er who constantly looks out for me. This site is awesome. Also extremely happy that I get to try this Petite Cellars SAOS 8.

Not a buy but I received a 4RSmB (with flask) from a whiskey gift exchange with my friends. I forgot how good that 4RSmB is. I have been drinking so many of the single barrels lately that it is a nice change.

Today was mainly a rye day for me - 2 Midwinter Night's Dram was a pleasant surprise. Also picked up another Jefferson's Ocean and a 2011 bottle of Russell's Reserve.

Picked up another Gallenstein ER10 #21 and Gallenstein WT RRSB Saturday, the went to TPS and picked up a new TPS BT - #587.

Enjoyed a fun lunch break at Binny's to pick up their store selected, 11-year SAOS single barrel. Although I've purchased my fair share of bourbon recently, I concluded I should get a second bottle of something else, but what? The EH Taylor barrel proof and Stagg Jr. are both tempting at $79.99 and $49.99, respectfully. But I already have bottles of each and virtually 90% of my recent purchases have been barrel proof. The HW MWND is also tempting and the same price as the EHTBP. It's also more unique and "better reviewed" (I don't usually give a crap, but this fact can tip the scales when facing indecision). But I have an open bottle at home and, if I really need another, can probably track one down. The Weller 107? Nope, just grabbed two bottles from a single barrel selected by Warehouse Liquors. Wait, what's that bottle over there? It's "Old Forester 1870 - Original Batch" for $44.99 at 90 proof (about 2x than the Old Forester Signature 100 proof sitting next to it). I vaguely recall a post about this new release and do a quick Google search. Two reviews I found were both highly favorable and it's a bourbon I've yet to try. Okay, that seals it.

Me neither and I'm getting these out of state. Had to get on a list for it. He got some 750's as well but I guess a lot of people won't buy the 1.75's. I'm good with them cause it's like getting 4 1/3 of the 750's...
