The last time I saw Hancock around here it was $50. Not interested at that price.

Hancock is the oddest brand. $50 is like the price from 10 yes ago, or so. BT announced that they were taking that to upper $20's, probably because it wasn't selling. I have seen it for that, but still see the $48ish, still on new stock. A local store here in ATL had Private Selection bottles...from "Liquor Barn" in Louisville. Odd.

It really is. About a year or so ago they started popping up here in some of the smaller, not much more than Jack or Jim type liquor stores you would hardly expect to be at, but still at $50 ...which is why I never bought it 10 years ago either. I did enjoy Tot's bottle at the Sampler which iirc was a Party Source.

Finished a bottle of 4R SmB LE 2014. Glad I found two when I got this one. Maybe the second will last until the 2015 comes out.

What do 'PS' & 'HPS' stand for? I know how bad I am at these iials and acronyms. I wracked my poor brain for the translation and came up dry. I even searched; but couldn't find, these in the commonly used abbreviations/tips for newbies either.

So, please take a moment and 'splain...?

JTS Brown BIB hits the bin. Still one of my favorite inexpensive bourbons and, next to VOB BIB, very near the top of my list of BIB's. Still looking for Beam BIB and EW BIB which I never see around here for some reason.

Still around $50 everywhere I see it which is why I too have never pulled the trigger. But at $20-something I'd be right on it!

Just finished a Bulleit 90 proofer . . . I've enjoyed this one.

Finished off my only bottle of Larceny. It was delicious from start to finish. I've found myself not enjoy wheaters as much as rye-based bourbons, but this one stood out.

Down to 16 open bourbons on the bar. Would like to get to single digits before opening more bottles.

Seems like I haven't finished a bottle in a while. That changed tonight when a HMcK BiB and a Bookers bit the dust. Going to finish a couple more open bottles before I open something new.

Just added a 4R single barrel OESK to the recycling bin and have a couple other close to going. Sad to see them go but since I'm limited on the open bottle count it just means a new one to open up.

My local Costco is running Bulleit 1.75's for $38. I have bought a couple. I enjoy mixing cocktails and it is a nice base for many. It also holds its own by itself. What are you folks seeing for prices on this?

Those are $54.99 state min up here in MI. No such thing as a sale on spirits up here.
