I couldn't find anything that I really wanted, so I brought home a bottle of Angle's Envy. Never tasted this one before. I hope I like it, but not too much.

You probably won't.

If you don't mind my asking, what were the prices? In Mass. it looks like WR 20, OWA 30 and W12 40. I think thas a lot of money! How about some local prices>

While in CO, I picked up a Four Roses Yellow Label. Because I like it and because its special-order only here in UT.

I was able to get a '14 Michter's US1 Toasted Barrel Bourbon bottle stuck way in the back behind their '15's for $39. Their '15's were going for $50. Will try it Friday.

I drove from Michigan to Kentucky for KBF today. I stopped at Crown Liquors near Indianapolis and picked up a bottle of Four Roses OBSK for $55 for a buddy. I'm hoping to get some Barrel Strength bottles from the Four Roses gift shop tomorrow at the distillery. I stopped by the warehousing gift shop today and they didn't have any Barrel Strength bottles out. I'm hoping the distillery gift shop has them. I also got a bottle of ETL from Keystone Liquors in Bardstown for $35.

I'm almost afraid to ask how much you paid (thought I don't think that much more)... I don't think I would have paid much more than I did. I was kinda on the fence about it even at $64, but I did pick it up instantly when I saw it, then had to think about it at that price, esp when EC12 was $26 right next to it.

Picked up bottle of 1792 Sweet Wheat, a bottle of E.H. Taylor Barrel Proof, and a bottle of Wild Turkey Masters Keep today....even though I should NOT be buying bourbon. Especially during the crazy fall bourbon season.

I picked up a PHC#9 as well yesterday. Wasn't sure which thread to post that in, so I'll follow you're lead pooch! Going back today to see if I can grab one for a friend as well. Very interested to try this. Probably crack it on Saturday.

wow

I grabbed a older 80 proof WT with the austin nichols on the label. I don't generally do 80pf but decided to get it since it was a bit older just for kicks. I will sample it tonight and if I like it I may have to go back for the other 2 that were on the shelf.

Picked up 2 regular size bottles of Weller 12 for $34 a piece after tax, that's basically the best price around here in NE IL for the non black market. The last one I bought was $36 after tax from Binny's a few months ago.

Finally lured a Weller 12 out of a back room for $35. Guess I'll bite the bullet and hit this shop a little more regular, maybe I'll hook another one or two later this season.

Plan on doing a small SB blend with some OWA and this W12 too.

Picked up my two special order (but no special price) 1792 sweet wheats this morning. One of them has been seriously damaged. By me.
