Having a small pour of a newly opened Abraham Bowman Release #14: Wheated Bourbon. It's 9 years, 4 months and 94 proof. It's good, but needs a little more time to open up. I already like it better than the last two Abe Bowman releases though (High Rye and Wine Finished).

Loaded the flask with some GBS ETL - and trying to restrain myself from heading to Bardstown before I finish coffee/breakfast.  Looking forward to seeing folks there this afternoon!

Cheers!

Got a pour of O.K.I. 9 Year antique barrel finish 100 proof ready to start the game tonight. I don't really care about Buffalo or the Jets, but it's football and I will watch it regardless.

Cracked my first 1792 Port Finish. I really like it. I found AE to have a funky, too porty (I guess) aftertaste. With the 1792, I got subtle, but nice, port on the front end and clean bourbon on the back. I really liked it. Finishing with some WT101. Always solid.

Another 1792 Port Finish fan, I am right there with you.

Went to the gun club tonight and shot a few rounds of skeet. Afterward we had some SAOS SB 10y 120.8p, damn good barrel. When I got back home finished the night with some EWSB '04. Very good afternoon.

Now that sounds fun. I went skeet shooting for the first time back in June at Wild Turkey as part of an event for the Kentucky Bourbon Affair. Such a great time.

Can I join this club?  Love that stuff, mainly in the wintertime by the fire, after dinner, during a rain storm, etc.  Very mood-enhancing pour.

First time with Eagle Rare for me.  Paired beautifully with the Padron Maduro.  Think German Chocolate Cake.

Larceny.  Plain old (hahaha) Larceny.  About 3 oz.'s worth.  I NEED it.  Have to turn over six cubic yards of compost tomorrow.  Momma said there'd be days like this.

I really want to comment, but I won't.

Still enjoying this FR GS OBSF. I like it when I don't have to cut my bourbon.

Hadn't had OGD114 in about a year and cracked a bottle tonight. Not as harsh as I remember the first dram from a 114 before it gets some air but still a good kick in the teeth. Enjoyable and looking forward to having it in a few weeks now that it's opened. Followed up with some ETL. Holy crap. So smooth and accentuated by following the OGD. I love the variety of bourbon and the range of tastes it appeals to.
