What bourbon did you purchase today (winter 2016/17)?

I picked up a bottle of ECBP batch 13 today, along with an EC12 with the age statement on the front.  It sounds like the state of Oregon had some of the EC12 bottles in a warehouse and they just got distributed.  They also gave me the ECBP box for carrying purposes.

Found a bottle of Dickel I had never seen before and the 9 yr age statement made me buy it.

If you are a Dickel fan, you will also like this one.  I found several 2 years ago and have one open now.

Congrats, wish I could get that, there are none in our area.  Picked up an OF 1920 for the bunker.

It did have a necklace but I took it off for the picture. I didn't realize they all come with one.  I really picked up on the vitamin note on the nose but the juice is fantastic.

If you enjoy it, you should pick up a bottle of the 'new' Kirkland's at your nearest Costco.  I think it drinks pretty similar @ roughly $29 and change for a liter.

No Full Proof to be found, so I went with the standard 1792

So, the Wild Turkey fan I am, I picked up a bottle of Wild Turkey Decades, and happened upon a few bottles of ECBP Batch 13, in the new bottles.

Decades is cracked open with a WT101 to get my palate in order.  Looking forward to it!

Is this good? Can't picture myself buying 80 proof bourbon, found a shelf full of plastic handles for $20.

^Nice score.

I'll say right now Decades is better than the original Master's Keep?  And for $150?  Not quite sure right now.  But I will say, it's a really good bourbon.

Concerning the Old Taylor, I have had several bottles of this; some when it was still in production.  Most important to note is 6 years.  It's Beam juice at 6 years and 80 proof.  It's sort of like in between Beam Black label and regular white label.

Is this one 80 proof?

YES!. I'd like it if Harry left some bourbon in my car too.

Didn't end up opening the Old Taylor last night. Will report back when I do. When did they stop making it?

Stopped by Liquor Barn at lunch time and they had this

WOODFORD%20DOUBLE%20OAK_zpstucp8t8l.jpeg  on sale.  I had some at a Super Bowl Party earlier this year so I thought I would give it a whirl.
