IMO the bourbon after Makers that primed the pump for the boom with its overall deliciousness, approachability and taste change up from the dead on the vine brands back then. GaryT
Not sure this qualifies as "enjoying", but sipping on my version of a hot toddy which includes some HH6yrBIB.
Spade
I've been alternating between EWSB and ER10 for the last week. Two really good pours I often overlook for some reason.
kyrocklover
Having a small pour of a vatting of MMCS and Dickel 9 CS. Been better than a year I think since the last pour. Mmmmmm. Very tasty. I betcha Smokinjoe is enjoying the games. I may have to switch to something stronger if the Nats bullpen doesn't show up soon. So, it's back to OF 1897 for this evening. Redslayer
A bourbon snowcone (aka mint julep) with some Henry McKenna BIB as the main ingredient. Can't drink them all the time, but definitely enjoyed for ceremonial purposes on race days.

mbroo5880i
Long day of soccer. Storm delays and tough games. Decided to treat myself tonight. I was looking for something special. I ended up with Larceny. While seemingly not special, I am really enjoying it. I have enjoyed the current bottle.

Kalessin
Watching the James Beard episode of American Masters on PBS (on DVR). He enjoyed everything in food and drink, and probably would have loved the SAOS 7 I just poured for myself. Now I feel the urge to borrow some of his cookbooks from my mom's kitchen and try some recipes...

CardsandBourbon
Went to Doc Crow's in Louisville before attending the play Beautiful at the Kentucky Center for the Arts. Started with a pour of Rowan's Creek. One of my son's friends favorites. I know some people on here aren't very enamored with it but I did enjoy it. Followed by an Old Forester 1920. Now I know why everyone has been talking about it. Definitely see a bottle of this in my future.

OldFitzWithTheGoldLabel
To each his own but this seems to be a pretty decent list with fair pricing. Better than what I see in Houston.I agree. I usually look for bargains when I buy bourbon at bars or restaurants. Elmer T Lee is a ghost bottle around here, so that is why I picked it. The Booker's was the same price as Woodford Reserve and Basil Hayden, so I figured it was a comparative bargain. Most places give me tiny pours if I order my bourbon neat, so I usually get it on the rocks to get more for my money. Compared to the outrageous Nashville prices, these are fair restaurant bourbon prices.Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

OldFitzWithTheGoldLabel
Drugs and alcohol - is there a hidden message there? [emoji33]Ha. It was at my neighbor's house and it was his bottle. The hidden message is that I wasn't looking at the background. I personally don't take anything stronger than vitamins or Ibuprofen. The Gentleman Jack tasted different. It had an odd nose - to me it smelled like a mixture of cotton candy and pecans.Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
