Thx man, I tought it was a negative thing, wipe the floor with it. So bad that you’ll throw it on the ground and actually wipe the floor with it to clean, ha ha. But talking like that about the 2017 GTS and some ORVW 10 seemed wrong to me, because the GTS is freaking awesome, talking of GTS, I’m gonna pour myself a glass ;-))

Maybe not with GTS, but bourbon infused hardwood floorboards smell really nice! (you'll know it when you drop and break a bottle)

Hopefully I didn’t drop this one, ha ha ! Hopefully because I’m enjoying the hell out of this bottle, maybe not thick or oily like  the Stagg, but it’s very juice.

It has been increasingly difficult to find in these parts.  Used to be, most stores of note had it on the shelf.  I looked for it on my Baker’s hunt over the weekend, and didn’t see it anywhere.  But, saw one today!

Since VA got some ETL this week I had small pours of Hancock’s, Elmer T Lee, and Rock Hill Farms semi-blind (I knew the three pours but the mrs mixes them up). 

 

My preference: 

RHF > ETL >>>>> Hancock’s

Great find, you’re in for a treat. I have 3 bottles coming in too, all 10’s around 120 proof also. Can’t have to much of those specially if you’re living in Europe where it’s nowhere to find. I’ve got another package coming in with 2 Colonel EH Taylor BP 128.1 and a sample of some WFE 23y wheated (2oz), so exited, it’s on my bourbon bucket list, i can cross off the list now. Cheers!

Salsiccia on the Big Green Egg will be a perfect compliment to these 2.

Done with the yard work, now relaxing a bit before heading to dinner with Littlesmokinjoe and Mrssmokinjoe.  This is my favorite GBS pick to date, though there are times the 1792 Full Proof hits me so good it gets right there.  But today, the RR is remaining on top.

I'm guessing you first language is Bostonian.  Nevah did figger ourt pahking cahs.  Was in the Army with a guy who graduated from Norwich.  We needed an interpreter to understand each othah.

 

EDIT - like smokinjoe (who undoubtedly right this second is upset that rookie Juan Soto just tied the game with a homer), sometimes 1792 FP just scratches that itch, and right this second, it is doing so.  (The OGD bottle is empty; got to refill it - it's an orange screwtop BIB I keep for sentimental - and nonspillage - purposes and use as a decanter.)

Enjoying one of my favorite OSSB (4116). I’m glad I have several in the bunker. What a great bourbon.
