smokinjoe
Really good jab working today, as I knocked a lot of things off my to-do list, then managed to push some things out till next week with some well timed rope a dopes. Took the round easily. Swiss judge so impressed with my multifaceted skill set that he said I reminded him of an army knife. So many weapons. A complex bourbon is needed, and Weller Centennial it is. Ready for tomorrow’s final round.

Ready for tomorrow’s final round. Today's got me down for the count. Been fighting some kind of stomach thing for a few days so no bourbon again. Two cars in the shop at the same time. The first one is "only" a $400 repair. Find out on the second one tomorrow. The Blues better win this hockey game tonight.

MOwhisky4me
A little age stated KC SmB for an appetizer, then a healthy pour of WTKS for a wonderful main course, and something a little different this evening for dessert.
CardsandBourbon
Whistled for the Pig last night and then did a little "Antique" shopping at OWA 107.
El Vino
Some Weller SR from a magnum I hauled back from FL last month before Mrs. EV and I head out for dinner. Then back home for game 3 of the World Series. I'm thinking some KO Rye Batch 1 while watching the Dodger's trying avoid the KO at the hands of Betts and Martinez.

BigSkyDrams
I have young kids, so the last several weekends I’ve been trying to wait until they go to bed before dipping into any bourbon. I’ll still have a couple beers or glass of wine with dinner before then, but just trying to save the good stuff until they’re out. Anyway, had a couple lights beers tonight which got me a decent head start, then poured a healthy two finger (and spread ‘em!) pour of OF1920 with one big ice ball, and it is fantastic. Milk chocolate, subtle char and oak, and some fruity, strawberry, peach notes on the front of the tongue, fading to a spicier caramel, with nice lengthy cinnamon finish. Love this stuff. Happy Friday all!
smokinjoe
Whew! Rocky start to the final day. Thought I would just dance through and take the decision. But, this week was not going to go quietly. Landed the big one late, to put it away. Pro Tip: Never. Ever. Leave it in the hands of the Swiss judge. Finish it yourself. Now, on to the weekend, and party time! The King of Whiskies, ‘04 George T Stagg, is fitting tonight. Only thing greater than Stagg to come out of the Motherland is the “Greatest of all time!” MUHAMMAD ALIIIIIIIIIIIII !!!!!!!!!
MTNBourbon
Been awhile since I've had some of this. Still very nice, for me, it's got to be at least 100 proof, for OF stuff to be considered, at least the few things I've tried from them.

It's relatively inexpensive. In the $35 range IIRC. Finished bourbon is hit or miss with me...mostly miss. Rye seems to hold up better to barrel finishing. foppa78
I'm sipping on a small pour of a Russell's Reserve single barrel that was a local store pick. I really enjoy this stuff.
Charlutz
Started with a pour of EHTBP and am now downshifting to its less muscular brother, EHTSmB. Enjoying them both.

Since I have been posting in a thread about labeling that basically no one comments on for purely my own enjoyment, it may be obvious to some that I'm part of the problem
