Quiet, You!

?

One of the very few bourbon advantages to VA. That one is always around.

With Four Roses private selections becoming 1) harder to find and 2) more expensive the small batch select will help protect the bunker. This bottle grew on me with each session. Going to have to find another next week.

Ha just killed mine as well and it definitely grew on me. I liked it and glad I bought but I’m reluctant to buy another as it’s price point seems somewhat high. If the plan is to change the recipes for future batches I’ll probably give it another go.

Though there's a cube in there, it's a pretty healthy final pour from this bottle.  It won't take long to replace it.

I tried it for the first time this week. I’ll definitely add one to the bunker in the near future.

This has become one of my favorites. I’m glad I got an extra.

Finishing a 375 of MMCS. I am not a big fan of Maker's or wheaters for that matter, but was wanting to try a Cask Strength version. I didn't much care for this bottle and it lasted me over a year. Luckily, in the last month I found it was really good with a snack, and I finished the bottle quickly thereafter. Still won't replace though.

1792 Sweet Wheat...will I ever see you again?

Who knows?   Maybe you will.   You also MAY wind the lottery; but, I don't advise it a retirement strategy.

I've seen exactly ZERO on a shelf in my life ... so far.

RRSiB PS. Finished it off last night.

I was a good bottle, but not much different than a standard RRSiB.

So good, but probably not a bunker bottle.

The fun of single barrels.

Cheers.

Such a great bottle in so many ways.

This quickly became a favorite for the mrs. & I, and was fairly short lived.

Yes, it was expensive compared to their other offerings and I was skeptical because the barrel proof SB is a much better value dollar for dollar.

This bottle was so well balanced and the flavors just sung in perfect harmony for us.   Definitely one of my favorite recent releases.  My hope is that my backup bottle (from a different barrel) will be just as enjoyable.

This could have also gone in the cocktail forum, but it was the end of the ECBP A119 bottle. A healthy squeeze of lime, maple syrup and chocolate bitters and lots of ice to fight 87 degrees.

Only 87? [emoji23]

The cocktail sounds interesting though...

Excellent whiskey. Easily last year’s favorite for me.

Finished these two this week. There's an OE7 BP about to give up the ghost tonight.

That one was exceptionally good. Finished off the OEBP tonight. Also had some "mystery bourbon" that was left in my flask. I think it was Early Times BIB but not sure.
