JMFH
Grabbed a bottle of OWA. Might as well grab a few here and there while they're still $30 here.

Michigan, I assume? Maybe it’s a good reason to take a work trip.

PaulO
I picked up JD Single Barrel Select (94 proof). Given some good reviews of JD Single Barrel here, I was going to try it eventually. Today I unexpectedly found it on sale. This is a tasty pour indeed. JD house style is there, but unlike standard JD, this is rich and thick, virtually no burn for over 90 proof.
mwmac
Picked up an ET Lee today (lucky in the lottery). While not a bourbon, I brought home from Texas a bottle of Balcones True Blue cask strength that I am looking forward to trying in the near future...

Maybe not quite $60.00 good, but it is good. Even though there may be hints of the 4R’s profile, it’s a bit different. In a good way though. Biba! Joe I find it to be very mint forward. But freshly opened 4R bottles typically take some time to blossom.

Golferpimp1
My pocket book is hurting. It’s hard for me to pass up EC store picks. ESP now that HMCK10 is impossible to find. Also had to try the new riff to see what that’s all about!!

She picked us up a bottle last year, and we eally, really like it. I've gone through a couple bottles since then. I even won a barrel pick, fr It's either very tough, or not available, around here, so I snagged a couple in Lexington, ~ $33.00 at a Kroeger, if memory serves. Please let us know what you think, after you crack open your bottle.
BDanner
I picked up a bottle of Evan Williams Bonded (Sale-priced at $13.95), and Eagle Rare (it's growing on me), my first bottle of Old Forester Rye (it had just hit the shelves at 24.95) and a 50ml of a new one I've been wanting to try, Lonerider. It is from a Raleigh NC based brewery that makes some awesome beer. It is high rye MGP that they finish in Sherry casks. I'm afraid to drop the $40 asking price on it before sampling. I hope that it's good.
FatherOfPugs
Grabbed an ER on the way home this evening, 3 bottles left on the shelf, 1 for me, 2 left for others. Figured time to try the Woodford Reserve Double Oaked.

I've had one for a little while and really enjoy it. I will pick up another at some point.

HoustonNit
Thought I’d give these a shot. Jgriff sorry whenever I see your avatar all I can think of is Patrick Swayze in Next of Kin.
JGriff
No worries. I personally prefer Raylan Givens over Swayze any day. Plus there are good bourbon mentions throughout the series. Cheers y’all.
Kepler
Ok so I picked up my obligatory 4R SmB select. Oh, and while I was at it, got a handle of WT101. Also picked up an extra OF rye at the best price I've seen anywhere.

Ha I don’t blame you but the Swayze character from Next of Kin was pretty bad ass.

I'm halfway though a bottle now. All my tastes so far have good but not great. Until tonight. It's really singing tonight and it's really tasting unique. Not like any other bourbon, but also not like what I expect 4R to be. Could just be an exceptional palate night!

Brother, I hope the light turns on for me. I had several pours at Sampler and I’m a good 1/3 into my first bottle, and it’s still in that “solid” but not singing to me phase. It could be that I have no palate left after Sampler, though... But as the adage goes: Winners never quit, and quitters never win....So, I will march on...

Me likee mucho FRSmB Select from the get-go. Beantown is awash (kinda') with the stuff for a bit now. Good thing we drove down to the Sampler, eh?

Radioyada
Following along with the popular theme I also picked up a bottle of 4R small batch select while at lunch. It will be tomorrow before I get to open and taste it as I am on the road to see my niece’s college graduation tonight, but I am looking forward to it.
