New Jersey?

According to my brother, EHT SmB & Blantons were gone 24 hours after that pic was taken at Costco (he didn't see that I had asked for ER so he went back a day later).  There were 7 bottles of ER left and he promptly cleared the shelf.  Plenty of BT left at $25.99 which ironically is priced cheaper here in NE FL when available.

Noticed you're from Rutherford.  Grew up on 21 Beech St back in the early 80's (Union School).

Nice! I've lived here for the last 10 years, grew up in Rochelle Park/Hackensack so Bergen County the whole time aside from the first three years of my life which were in Orange County NY, I passed on all of the above but it seems a lot of people went nuts over those prices.

Went to pick up a bottle of Beam this morning in a show of support for them after their fire.  I then noticed the 1792 Single Barrel, so felt compelled to get it too, as a show of support for Barton from their rickhouse collapse.  And then, I saw the Four Roses Yellow Label, and figured if I bought it now, that might reverse Karma things, and prevent something bad from happening there...  If this works for 24 hours, I’ll go back and get a BT, Maker’s, Rittenhouse, Kentucky Spirit, Old Forester, Dickel, and Daniel’s tomorrow.  I feel I owe it to them...  :D

@CaptBud, please let me know what you think of the WW Statesman. We put that batch together the first of last month. I had a certain idea in mind regarding taste profile when choosing what barrels to mingle for that one, which should be fairly different from the regular WW small batch.

Cheers,

Nancy

Left my event early to seek out a bottle of Blanton’s for gifting, started a conversation and ended up leaving without it. $254.00 for the trio— still somewhat in shock.

Picked up 2 back up AS Virgin 101’s and this SP KCSib. I’ll say though, I see no shortage of these AS Virgin’s as I’m literally seeing them 3 wide and 6 deep here on the bottom shelves..

Yesterdays purchases. Cracked the rye at the store and also poured off a sample, but definitely got after it last night.

Anyone try the BT Experimental stave juice? I was a little meh on concept and price, but got “talked into” it. Not that it took much convincing.

A couple  nice things about being able to drive to my corporate office outside of St. Charles, IL is availability and price over Michigan. Have never tried MMCS before, but for $40 at Binny’s, it was a no brainer. Saved a couple bucks too on a recent fave...JBDC. This is my fifth bottle of this stuff and has quickly become one of my favorite pours!

Always good to have some 3Floyds Zombie Dust IMHO, and picked up a Bitches Brew in honor of one of my favorite musicians and albums. Hope it’s good, but love the bottle.

While my wife got her hair done, I picked up a few Virgin 101 AS, a JAM on sale (10% off), an Uncle Nearest which I've never had, and a cache of VOB 100s @ $14 per 750.  The VOB was unexpected.  Purveyor asked if I'd let her know what I thought of the Uncle Nearest,  I said sure but it'd be awhile. She then asked, "You mean you aren't going to crack it open when you get in the car?"'  She was smiling, of course.

I hope I live long enough to drink all this stuff.

That is a screaming buy and one I'd drive to LA for if there's any more left.

Well, I was out and about yesterday. Hee hee hee.

The ER10 is for me. Once again, I just couldn't pass it up @ $28.99.

The PS WTKS @34.99 is a nostalgia buy. Although I'm not a big Turkeyhead, like others, I will miss the old "fantail" bottle.

The Feischman's Rye, a steal @ $17.99 for a 1.75, is not for me. ;)

The OGD 114 @21.99 a bottle. I was feeling the pressure that some of you put on me after I passed on one a while back, so I caved, and went back and bought one. Hope y'all are happy now.

I included a second picture. While on my way back home yesterday, I was on the edge of some nasty storms that blasted their way through our area. I skirted them for the most part for a while, but when I got a few miles from home, all heck broke loose. Very nasty winds blew in, and the skies opened up and it rained buckets. My wife called me to forewarn me about our neighbor across the street. It was still a bit of a shock when I got home though. Our neighbor is okay. She took pics and I assume she's waiting to hear from her insurance company. No windows were broken, and it appears her roof is intact. With a little luck, there might only be some minor damage to her gutters. (Which she just had fixed up a couple of weeks ago.)

Found some ER10 nearby yesterday.  Seems to be difficult to find in my neck of the woods.  I had a pour last night.  It was OK.  Not gonna lie, I am currently enjoying the WT101 more.  My palate is not very refined, though.
