Am always working on a few choices as I like variety. But this was what a friend and I shared last night. Enjoy your summer.

The wife was wanting burgers, so I did smash burgers on the cast iron griddle. Now I'm listening to Waylon and enjoying the evening. This 1792 SiB PS on an ice cube is a pretty decent companion to this cigar. Since I decided to not grab a bottle of Rare Breed i may go with 4R SiB next.

Had to buy this before I could buy a store pick ER10.  Never had 1792 before.  This one is pretty good I have to say.

We started Blanton’s Gold. Been a good pool party cause then we went 1920, Noah’s Mill, MMCS, and now JTS BiB. Who knows what’s to come. There’s a rumor of a William Heavenhill

Onto the Eagle Rare store pick.  Pretty stellar.  Wish I had a case of this stuff

Warmed up with a Belle Meade regular.  Soon went to a good store pick RR SiB which is getting a little low in the bottle.  Now sipping some 4R 2016 LE small batch.  Just a really great all-around bourbon.

Opening up with W.B.Saffell.

Yep, it is tasty.

Cheers

^^^^^^^^^^^^

The Saffell is the real deal.

It has some age, viscosity, traditional WT balance and a nice finish. Purchase a bottle if you come across one.

Cheers

Finishing off the last of a JB Distiller's Cut.  100 proof, NCF for $20 . . .  reminds me why I won't be buying HH's overpriced 7yr BIB ;)

@JCwhammie, a little bit of bourbon, burgers, and Waylon sounds like a perfect combination!

Cheers,

Nancy

They don’t call you the Whammie for nuthin’!! ;)

Seriously, congratulations to you and MrsWhammie in this wonderful time for you both.

Even though I have to sub the Minute Made lemonade for Simply Lemonade, a “Whammie” in y’all’s honor is in order, tonight.  :D

I'm happy that cocktail has stuck! It's liable to be a staple at my house for a long time.

And thanks again, Joe. I'm 38 and the Misses is 37, so we decided we needed to start trying right away since we both want a little one.

I also noticed the book on your earlier post picture, but didn’t want to assume too much! Congratulations...your life is about to be forever changed!

I've found out you can almost enjoy them if you turn them off after the 6th, guess tonight was the exception

As in, the store owner/manager forced you to buy that before they would sell you an ER store pick?

Not really a punishment in my mind...

Are they having trouble selling the 1792?
