Newly created WT91 for the hot summer days.  I can't help but continue to buy the sleeves (10 pack) of WT101 minis for $9.73 after tax.  That equates to $14.60 for a fifth (again, after tax), which is great in and of itself, but then I decided to add 18 of them to an empty BT liter bottle along with ~100mL of water to get to 91 proof.  Now I've got a fully aged, acceptably proofed, readily available, delicious daily drinker for $13.14 per fifth OTD.  I'm going to need to buy more sleeves...

After a hellacious day of sodding the sodding lawn, i am enjoying micro pours of VOB BIB ( the real stuff) WT 101 and finally New Riff rye. Upping the spice quotient with each successive pour. This is a nice progression and I am heartily enjoying each one. ( yo New Riff, you are hanging with some of the big boys now, well done, we pay for it yes, but still, well done).

Having some EC18y tonight out of what’s become my favorite glass to drink bourbon. I don’t know what you call this glass, but it’s fat and the noise is great on most bourbons.

Found out the wife and I are expecting a boy, which called for a nice pour of W12. Now currently watching the subway series.

Great day.  Did a run on the lake in the pontoon and now back at our site enjoying some Weller.  Looking forward to The fourth tomorrow and cooking on the grill.

Ezra Brooks tonight.  Lots of almost pine-like taste and baked goods on the front end, just wish there was a little more finish.  Oh well, still a killer deal for $20/handle.

On a whim bought an EWSiB as a sipper for the holiday weekend. I had stocked a bottle fairly regularly about 3 years ago, but haven’t had it for at least the last year and half. Might just have stumbled on a good barrel, but it’s tasting fabulous tonight! Will have to try to bring this back into the rotation

The Highwire Revival is 2 years old, and tastes like it. The 100% red corn is interesting, but just too young and lacking much depth.

Switching gears tonight and moved onto WRDO.. I partook the other night as well.. I’ve enjoyed, and growing on me as well but I can’t put my finger... errrr taste buds on this profile. ??? I sense the oak of course but can’t discern any clear cut flavors... maybe some butterscotch on the nose? I do find it overly sweet however but not in a bad way...

Chocolate?  I get it in spades with this, and the ET BIB...
