I too picked up the #1 of the OF 150 - and have an option to buy number 2 and number 3 as well. Going to try number 1 tonight, and very much looking forward to it with some Sunday Night Football! It will have to impress me at $165 to buy the others.

It's probably the most non OF profile OF I've ever tried. Need to confirm that tonight with a second taste to make sure my palate was in its normal state last night. I have one downstairs so I'll do a side by side.

I felt statesman was much more caramel forward, whereas I associate chocolate covered cherries as the “typical” old forester profile. statesman is a fantastic fall-winter bourbon. The nose is oak and fruit, I found it very viscous. Lots of good heat, maybe pepper and cedar and tobacco. Lots of fruit after the heat calms down. Great long finish. I really like it. I would buy another, even at the $165 price tag. If anyone tried 2 or 3, please let me know. Best OF product I have had.
