I recently came across some at a little store for 38.99, but passed; too many reviews complaining of the variability of it.
LGC
So disappointed, I had to pass on a Maker's Mark "RC6". Got my hopes up, as the online inventory showed one in stock, at my local ABCFWS. Run out at lunchtime to pick it up and it's an FAE-01. If it was the FAE-01 with the 110.6 I might've picked it up anyway, as my two bottles of FAE-01 are 110.3 Edited April 8, 2021 by LGC

BIB This was about $35 here, sometimes on sale $30, but recently dramatic price bump to $45 and still sells so fast have to get in line before store opens to get it. But on other hand, it is good.
Kepler
And to think I used to buy this for $26.99. It was an under the radar gem then.. not anymore.

GeeTen
Luckily, ECBP Batch A121 was still $59.99 up north in the "Live Free of Die" stores when they still had any (nearby).

PaulO
I got an email from TW. They are releasing a new brand of Bourbon and Rye named First Call. It's 36 months old, don't know the proof. To quote the late Chris Farley "Well la de freakin' da!".

LGC
I'm probably in the minority, but the MM FAE-1 didn't impress me. The initial pour showed promise, but after a couple of weeks the flavor profile went in the wrong direction, for me.; it now resembles what I would think a diluted turpentine would taste like. So the backup bottle is going back to the store.
lemonman
Saw KC12 for $55 today, but passed. I'm sure it's great, but at 2.5x what I pay for KC9, not going to work for this cheap bastard. This trend towards scotch-type pricing on bourbon disturbs me.

LvR Mike
I just want to thank this group again on giving me the knowledge/courage to pass on some crazy prized whisky out there. Saw a EHTSmB for $150 today and passed pretty easily. I think before I would of battled myself internally on whether I should fork it over or not just from the rarity it is around me. I did go home with a Baker's Single Barrel instead, which I'm excited to try.
