ThomasGazelle
I just did not like this at all when drinking it neat….i thought i would never get rid of it. If you mix it with some Vernors though it’s not too shabby on a hot Kentucky day.

I've been a bit busy with work this week. I wanted to give it my full attention. I learned this week that I'm pretty sure I like Maker's Mark better than any Benchmark product.
0895
Seemed like a good way to start the weekend. The oak ending on this one is very nice.

Frank, I can confirm that 11yr Old Overholt is a very nice rye. We had a great time. It was a little toned down compared to the last get together!

0895
Still a bit mixed on this. It has a more Evan Williams profile to it vs. Elijah Craig, IMO. and that’s all fine, but the cost/value/experience just isn’t there for me. I’ll probably have to think hard before buying another one to consume.

0895
It’s been a low bottle slaughter around here lately… This store pick was from 2015 IIRC. 2 years bourbon barrel finished Rendezvous Rye. The bourbon finish cuts the rye spice just a bit and adds an incredible oaky sweetness to the mix. 100p, and every bit as good as it sounds. Probably the best Rendezvous Rye I’ll ever experience, and arguably bests the 16 year Rocky Mountain Rye by a little bit. Sad to see it go, but knowing me, there’s at least one more lurking around here somewhere…
Kjbarth
Latest 2 empties. Sad to see them go though I’ll probably only replace the 4RYL.
Bob_Loblaw
Friend gifted me the last pour of this bottle during our first post pandemic meet up. I had previously gotten very excited after seeing on his bar last year. Great pour. However, the winner of the night for me was the ‘19 OFBB. For my cousin it was a WFP pick. Great night and looking forward to many more pours this weekend.

Kepler
I've been hanging out in the low rent district lately. The one on the right punches above its weight.
