An empty bottle is a sad sight. However, it is also a cause for celebration, especially if it was a bottle enjoyed by a member of SB.com. We shed a tear for your loss but embrace a smile knowing you enjoyed it. We wish you fond memories. Edited October 29, 2021 by mbroo5880i
lemonman
Polished off another bottle of my go-to, KCSmB; lots more where that came from. I see the MM101 is nearly empty, looks like it'll be joining the party after dinner...
Clueby
The work conference bottle took its final bow tonight. I had some help from a coworker. Heading home tomorrow morning.
TwoFingers
Bottle kill of MC. My wife always asks me why I drink that Mellow Yellow? Today it is gearing myself up for the onslaught of candy hoarders.
Marekv8
A 1978 bottling-- 40 years of plastic cap taint created something far beyond bourbon. Surprised that the drain didn’t spit it back out.

I think this speaks to the notion that this stuff is made to be drank. Not hoarded away in cases for decades to later be bought off of widows for a fraction of what was paid and then thrown out for funky taint and rotted corks. Drink up boys!
Kjbarth
Drained a delicious FRSiB. Definitely replacing.
JakeySnakes
Finished off a bottle of BT Kosher Rye Recipe last night. Absolutely loved this bottle. Wish I had a backup, but every time I've seen it since, it's been at secondary prices, which I cannot abide.
Richdel
This bottle is gone and will not be replaced. I have come to really enjoy WT products in the past year, but for me I really enjoy the "creamier, fuller flavor" of RRSiB even though it is pricier. Drank both in the same night a couple of times this week, and to me there was a significant difference. Could be that the RRSiB was from a fantastic single barrel, never to be found by me again, but I will continue to search.

steven s
Third night was Buff Trace mash 1. not pictured is an empty vessel of Stagg jr./Eagle Rare blend, which was a close second to the GTS in blind tastings. I brought all these, and the fellas were very appreciative!

0895
Following in Joe’s footsteps. I think WSR has gotten significantly better since the bottle changed. Maybe it’s all in my head. This bottle (2018) had a delicious balance of syrupy sweetness & red hots candy. Love it!
scratchline
Killed two. And sorry to see them go. The price jump on Booker's lost me a while back, but I still like it everytime I have it. And the Beam Bonded is better than Old Tub, IMO.

Yup. Game was a surprise. As was the ending. A promise of things to come? I don't think so. Wash's running game reminded me of the George Allen years - four yards per play on average wins the game every time unless the other side is getting five per. I'm not expecting a repeat next week. Started with the dregs of a WT 101 KSBW then switched to a basic BT. About three ounces altogether. Got so engrossed in the game I forgot to drink up.
