I am looking forward to getting my hands on a bottle of OF1920. From everything I have read it is a good pour. I’m a big fan of the OF1920. Definitely pick one up. Right now I’m enjoying a Russel’s Reserve Single Barrel that is hitting all the right notes.

I haven't finished my Voyage 11 because it is so good with a bite of bacon. The salts mesh wonderfully. It definitely has a place though I didn't care for their 1st wheated voyage. PaulO
I finally got around to the OGD BIB. I regret not having this in the line up for a while, but have remedied that. Sweetness and rye spice battling it out. There is some oak too. My issue was, local grocery does not stock OGD. (I've asked them). My favorite liquor store (across town) has OGD, but also the newest bright and shiny objects to distract me.
PhantomLamb
It finally happened, WTKS finally came through for me. Since I bought this almost two years ago, it's been nothing but an incredible nose of brown sugar and oak with no palate and no finish. After letting it sit for about 15 minutes and on the third sip or so, it suddenly became very chewy, almost tasted like caramel and sawdust, with a trailing finish. I was thrilled.
BigSkyDrams
Went to the store to pick up my monthly wine club selection, and on a whim decided to grab a 4RSmB. It’s been years since I’ve had it, but there was a period early on in my bourbon journey where I would proudly announce that it was my favorite bottle. I poured a heavy one as my only drink of the night and took my time with it for a few hours playing a video game. I’ve gotta say, I’ve been remiss in not keeping this more regularly stocked, particularly since it’s still so well priced (relative to other things - I paid $34OTD). Actually, my first few sips were sort of... disconcerting is not the right word, maybe alien? And not in a bad way, just very different from things I’ve been drinking lately. But by the time I was down to about half my glass, I couldn’t get enough. Lots of very small but consistent sips, savoring the mid palate and finish. All in all, good Friday night. I really want to find the SmB Select, but have not seen it anywhere in Montana yet. (Edit: or “still” I should say. It’s been out quite awhile) Edited January 9, 2021 by BigSkyDrams Additional info

(Edit: or “still” I should say. It’s been out quite awhile) I'm about 75% into my 4r Smb Select. Not sure it is a $50 bottle which is what I paid for this one, but I can add it to my 4R philosophy. It seems whether it's the 4R Sm Select, SiB or Sm Batch doesn't seem to matter. When you are looking at your open bottles and don't know what to choose, a 4R expression is a "no lose" 1st choice. You may continue or choose something totally different, but rest assure, your 1st choice was the bomb!!!

bayouredd
No rhyme or reason... Started with the: vanilla/caramel/cinnamon then dove into apple/bubblegum/heavy licorice finishing with caramel/apple/oak The EC18 tasted just like EC Nas with a stick in it when 1st opened on Christmas, but has opened up nicely since... However the Willett wins the night. Now is time for my ribeye to hit the plate!!! Edited January 9, 2021 by bayouredd

Rhettro
Being a big Redski.....Washington Football Team fan, I thought it only appropriate to pour a little (former) D.C. liquid love. Joseph A. Magnus is my first - and certainly not last - pour of this fine night. Go WFT - hit ‘em in the mouth!!
JakeySnakes
Opened, and am drinking some 4R SmB Select and basking in a big Bills win, while watching my 'Cuse play G'Town. Finished up a bottle of this last month that I nursed throughout the past year and it really grew on me. Gonna take my time with this second bottle too....hopefully.

AlfaLarreo
Second night of tasting Garrison Brothers Cask Strength for TW. Very nice on the palate, but need more pours to distinguish the notes. For a young bourbon it has a less offensive finish than most for my taste. Huge leather at the beginning of the finish, but it mellows with a little citrus. This may be good enough to try this years Cowboy when it comes out.
