JakeySnakes
Stopped in a close, but not frequented LS for some wine for dinner, and ran into a row of KC Single Barrel with the old label, at a reasonable price (46.99 +tax). Balked at picking one up, as I was on a mission, and the cabinet is almost full, but have a feeling I may head back for one in the next day or two. Haven't seen any of the old labels around for a while though, and for that matter, the newer label/bottle version has been missing from shelves at my normal stops lately. Heading back that direction tomorrow, so we'll see what happens...
TehRegion219
Stopped at liquor barn in elizabethtown while driving back up from Nashville today, passed on 1.75/750 VOB 80,86,100. I would have picked up a 90 in either size. Also passed SiB from KC, EC, and a few others. I was there looking for HH6yr green label but struck out. PaulO
I just had a conversation with a liquor department manager at a large grocery chain. She checked and they don't have HH 6 year in their system. Today I passed: MMCS $35, MM 101 $34, Woodford Straight Wheat Whiskey $29.

Kroger had it for $33.99 with the discount. I also saw MM46CS for $45 at Costco. I didn't pull the trigger. I am going to be heading to Carmel and Bean Blossom over the weekend so I will widen my bourbon path. I am sure I will find something to bring home. The thought in my area was that MMCS was price lower than MM101 to clear it out and then the price would increase. It did increase but only slightly above MM101. December 2020 - MMCS $34.99, MM101 $39.99 May 2020 - MMCS $39.99, MM101 $34.99 Of course, each region of the country is different. Based on historical pricing, I believe the current pricing is fair. In my area, MM $24.99, MM46 $32,99, MM101 $34.99, MMCS $39,99, MM46CS $45.99, MM46PS $69,99,

PhantomLamb
Passed on everything today, so far Buffalo hasn’t proved to be very exciting. One store had HH7yr for $40, that tempted me a little bit but after having HH6yr BIB, I feel like I shouldn’t buy it for moral reasons lol.

Another reason not to buy it is that it isn't any better than the discontinued HH6yr BiB. A friend and I did a SBS and we both preferred the 6yr.

FWIW, and IMHO, the 7yr is a decent bourbon, but I agree with what others have said. The HH 6 yr spoiled me, and the 7 yr at 2 1/2-3 times the price isn’t quite worth it. I bought one bottle of the 7 yr and probably won’t buy another. “That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it.” Biba! Joe

Joe Should’ve mentioned while I was at the bar, the kind lady mentioned to me that she “has a friend who works at HH that said they will be producing the 6yr BIB again soon at the same price”. As much as I’d like to believe, I don’t buy it. I offered to buy the rest of the bottle (2/3 full at $7 for 2oz) from the bar but they said no .

IIRC, I tried that with the new 2019 WLW and GTS (fresh from the Alabama State liquor store) they wre selling at the bar at Auburn University Hotel and Conference Center last February (just before Covid-19 hit). They also said "no". So we drank 'em dry @ $17/2 oz. shots in 2 nites. Appears nobody knew what they had. Guess we showed them, eh??? Not being snarky, just curious. The same old price, or the same new price? I’m pretty sure I know the answer, but I had to ask. Biba! Joe

Wish I could've stumbled upon this earlier, I'd even settle for HH6yr green label, can't even find that in KY now.
