Broke out some Wilderness Trail to mix things up.  A local store pic that is a butterscotch bomb.

With 2 Ghirardelli dark chocolate sea salt caramel squares. Brought out coffee/espresso, leather, cherry flavors on my palate.

Having some of the best Special Release that Jack ever did. One is a 2018 and one is a 2019. Sooooo good.

plastic?  $26 great price for that product.  I've been lucky, local store has direct competitor 6 yr Old Taylor handle $18.  Perhaps I should grab more before it's gone.  but if ya have sympathy, your heaven hill 6 yr not available in our state

WT Spirit is always winner, never lets you down.  I just grabbed one last night.  It's been hard to find in this region lately, not sure why.

Yup, agree. I’ve been lucky to be able to find it lately and hope that continues. It’s a little different than WTRB and the RR variations but they are all good to me and will have a place in my cabinet as long as I can find them.

Sipping some of the latest Booker's release.  Something special is required to celebrate our agreement today to purchase a cabin about 90 miles north as a getaway destination.  We close on early November so I'll have to start a small bunker up there in a couple months.

I'm pretty sure that 6 year Old Taylor is long discontinued.  If you like it, I doubt they're getting more.

Boom.  Yes, yes, and more yes.  This (my 2018 bottle) is possibly my favorite JD release ever, and in my top 5 bottles of all time.  Love it.

Cracked a recently purchased OGD BiB that I'm tasting for the first time. (still in tater-mode)   I like it just fine.  Now off to get a little chili and watch Jeopardy before a few hours of spinning vinyl.   Cheers!

It has been a few years since I've had this. I went into my local shop yesterday, looking for a OF1920, but this caught my eye. For $30 it was an easy decision. I enjoy this quite a bit.

1792 full proof, off the shelf vs barrel pick variety, tis a hot one and takes a good dousing to bring forth boubony flavors.

THX to you and KJBarth.  I forgot about the Giants-Wash.   While we are watching PBS - Miss Marple "The Pale Horse" - I just pulled up the game on another PC tab.  OGD BIB, of course.

Glad to help!   Hope the WFT holds on with some fella I never heard of at QB.     I'm listening to a little Black Uhuru on the tube system.  Early season games, after 10PM EST, hold little appeal.

Have to grab my quality listening time when it arises.

FWIW, for many years, the Steelers-Skins preseason games were a NEVER MISS for us.  I've had a soft spot for the Steelers dating from when Art Rooney owned them and still do thanks to the Rooney family.  Sometimes, that game told us whether the Skins had a chance in the regular season.  Pre-Dan Snyder, of course.😉
