Polished off a bottle of a New Riff SB from my bosses bourbon group. It was good but nothing special or memorable about it. Just good standard bourbon.

I have one of these on deck to open.  Bought it while on vacation on Florida during the springtime, from curiosity since we don't have it in Texas.  Bought one each of the Single Barrel and the regular (I guess Small Batch), both are 100 proof.   If it's just a solid, standard bourbon I'll take that.

Nice glass I have a large set.  I believe they used to come in a box of laundry detergent.

Yeah it's a vintage Libbey Golden Foliage. We have a bunch...tumblers, fluted "Pilsner" style, shot glass, etc. I even have an ice bucket.

I inherited my aunt’s set when I helped clear out the house to sell.  None of her children wanted them.

Per the laser code it was bottled in 2015.  I purchased it in 2016 off the shelf in a small store.  Oddly, that's the most I've ever paid for a RHF and I've bought probably 8-10 of them since then.  I assume the reason it was still on the shelf in a sleepy liquor store was because it was priced $10-15 over the going price at the time.

Regular bottle of BT will go to the big green bin later. I'm sure more will fall this weekend watching football and fantasy drafts!

A couple of the usual suspects from the past week or so. 😕 Might add another tonight. 😉

I weren’t lying. 😇 I topped off my 750, and had the last small pour from my handle. I almost hate to throw this bottle out. Most of y’all know how I feel about my gal at MM. It was dipped by her. 😘  Settled in and watching baseball now.  ⚾🧢 😁

Wouldn't you know the very next day I broke the glass. Just barely tapped against the kitchen faucet by accident.

I am OH SO FORTUNATE because the three Magruders guys who do the picks have a combined palate that really fits mine.  I just happen to have an unopened bottle of this release sitting with four other releases.  Thanks for the nudge.  My Magruders MM store picks are in the dining room on top of a cabinet containing dishes and silver stuff.  ASIDE - I sure wish they'd do some 4R picks but I buy what I can get.  Found a 13YO ER up there so am sipping on that right now.

EDIT - THX, Frank, for the ER, BTW.

It must fit mine as well. Thanks, Frank and you as well for this bottle! It was enjoyed at an STL gathering and came home with me to polish off.
