More empties.  The batch 26 is one of my favorites from Barrell.  The Kentucky Vintage was a 2005 bottling with an age statement (2 days shy of a full 9 years) and was tasty but not nearly as good as the 11 yr  Pure Kentucky XO that I found at the same store years ago).

According to the Ezra Brooks website, the 7yr 101 is no longer sold; I will miss it as it has been my Autumn outdoor chore celebratory bourbon for years.  Its mushroom, leaf mold, slightly sooty notes went well with the outdoor smell on my clothes.

Much respect to you for being so consistent with these tasting notes over the years. I only have one or two more left myself and cherish them.

Here’s a few finished in recent weeks. Not pictured is a MM 750 that I refilled from a handle. Next!

We found a few of these locally over the summer. It's a nice pour for under $30

It was a nice pour for under $30, but last ones I saw are now KY only and $50. Pass

How cold is your house that the cube lasted until lunchtime the next day?  :P

Candle time???  Still have a couple of drams left in mine - taking them real slow.  🥳

Finished off a very good Willett Rye tonight. I’ve had this bottle for some time.  It was starting to loose its greatness. It will be hard to replace these great MGP bottles.

Here’s a couple more empties. No, I ain’t finishing ‘em off that fast. I had a couple of BT’s open. Long story. 🤔  The one I recently finished was a Binny ps. When I finished that one,  I grabbed another BT and opened it. Force of habit.  I  forgot I had another BT already opened. So, I just combined the two. Also, in order to make a little room, I grabbed the remnants of a MM 1.75 and topped off the 750 I had open on my cabinet. Begin the countdown to 2024. 🥳

The "how many open bottles..." thread motivated me to start culling.

The tentative plan is to quit buying until I've thinned the herd..at least that's my story,  and I'm stickin' to it😁

The PHC 12 Orange Curacao that was my first pour of 2024 also became my 2nd and 3rd pour...and now....she gone.  I have one backup left.  I was one of the few that actually really liked that release.
