Guest wripvanwrinkle
Many pours of ORVW 10/107. Although this bottle once seemed endless, it is sadly nearing its end.

hectic1
Started last night with some FRSB Barrel Proof private bottling and decided that I wasn't going to pour any wheaters which is rare as I prefer the sweetness of the wheaters to the spicyness of the rye based bourbons. I followed that pour up with some WTRR 101, ND OGD BIB, and some Booker's. I haven't had Booker's in a while and while I wish it was a couple years older it still had some really nice things going on there. Tonight I'm back to wheaters with a nice large pour of Binny's WSR...IMO this is a really nice sub $20 bottle...not a ton going on but no really bad off notes pop out either! smokinjoe
Just returned home from The Ted, where we enjoyed the Bravos victory over Baltimore. Celebrating the W with a pour of VOB BIB.
jcg9779
Just returned home from The Ted, where we enjoyed the Bravos victory over Baltimore. Celebrating the W with a pour of VOB BIB.Very nice! It's good to see them playing so well at this point in time. As good as McCann is playing, it's awesome to have a guy like David Ross who can step in and not miss a beat! It seems like every game he plays he does something big offensively.

cigarnv
Last evening it was a few Baby Saz.... first with ginger and then just over ice. Just grabbed a few more of the Saz before these begin to dry up..
hectic1
Last night I started with a good sized pour of Binny's Weller Special Reserve...IMO it's a very good everyday pour for just shy of $18. I decided to move onto some Ritt BIB and ginger ale as I was heading over to a neighbors house...he had a bottle of Binny's Baby Saz and while I can't say that it's one of my favorites neat it does pair very well with ginger ale. I had one of those before finishing the night with some Willett R/E 17yr 133.2...just a GREAT bourbon!

AaronWF
I found a GREAT use for Booker's last night: in an old fashioned! I don't usually make cocktails, but we had some friends over, I made some simple syrup, mixed in the bitters, muddled some orange rind, threw in the rocks and poured in the Booker's. Tossed in a maraschino cherry and orange slice and viola! The Booker's has opened up really well over the last month or so. Perfect strength for an old fashioned and a really nice spice complimenting the orange and bitters.
StraightNoChaser
Just did a small tasting with a friend. We poured OCPR, JPR17 and finally PHC GA to finish off. Good times.
