The first Weller 12 I've seen around Boston has appeared in a store I drop by occasionally, but it's priced at $38 for a 750ml.

Went looking for a bottle of 4R 2012 LE 1B today. Found a half-dozen of the 2011 LE 1B gathering dust. Passed.

Edited to add: Also saw quite a few EC18 still on the shelf at the regular price ($49; another retailer sold out at $62).

ER 17 2011 for $64.99

Handy 129 proof (2009?) for $56.99

Lot B for $49.99

Decent prices but I was not looking to buy anything in that price range today.

I passed up a Very Very Old Fitzgerald today.

I see that the bidding got a bit to high for me.

EC20 for $129, any opinions on the 20 year old?

I have not had it and do not plan on it for that price.

Handy and Lot B are both at very good prices. In MI Handy is >$70 and the only Lot B I've seen in the past year was $65.

Definitely one of the benefits of MN. At least for where I shop at, these are very much the norm.

Of course, we do miss out on some things.

While dusty hunting, I found a bottle of Four Roses with a pretty old label. I was excited until I remembered that until the past 10 years or so Four Roses was blended with NGS...

EC18 for $80, Baby Saz for $40, some Woodford edition that was $90, and some other overpriced stuff.

Pch 27: $200

stagg: $125

Handy: $120

er17: $120

wlw: $125

pvw20: $300!!!!!!

Store employee said the owner went online and priced accordingly. I told him I preferred to shop at local small businesses but I'd wait until the fall and get these from the big stores.

You really can't blame the guy for this pricing.

These bottles are just inventory items to him and he is just looking to get the current "market" price.

In a pinch I would pay $125.00 for a bottle of WLarueW. BTW, what year was it?

Passed up a bunch of Ritt BIB-close to 10 bottles in one store, almost never see that many in one place. Good price too.

Not bourbon, but also passed on some Wiser's 18yo. Been itching to try some of this. And the price was right at $36, but I almost think it was a error. Anyplace else I've seen it, usually runs in the $50-$60 range.

Another day perhaps.....

Passed on a EC 18 barreled 2/92 after buying a dusty OCPR. I'll probably end up going back and getting it.

Due to a current cash shortage, passed on FR '09 Marriage, Jefferson's 10yr rye, Ritt 23, Willett 5yr rye, and Rebel Yell 101 proof cinnamon liqueur. Anyone have any background on the RY? I would have given it a try were it not for the $22 price tag.
