jsVA
Passed on these two yesterday. I've never heard of Whitmeyer's, and my alarm bells go off whenever producers start waving the Texas flag in my face. The Bowman was tempting (as I really like the port and gingerbread ones), but I decided I've really got to work on thinning the herd of bottles I've already got at home. I also passed on AE CS at the same store, priced at ~$195. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I really liked this bowman, though not as much at $89 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Paddy
For the first time since early December, I stepped into a liquor store today. The last couple of purchases I had made since that time have been at a local Kroger Spirits Shop and Rite-Aid Drugstore. I was surprised to see Forgiven still on the shelves. With all the comings and goings (many going as quickly as they come around here), that's probably some pretty damn good bourbon! And yes....it's still there.I also saw a lonely looking OC 8 (age stated), 4i's Dickel barrel selects and TONS of BT (750's and handles), but no RHF, Blantons or ETL. Guess we know where all the AAA and OC 10 are now!
RepTucker
Woodford 4 wood, woodford malt, POH, Hirsch 16 and 4r125. All 100 and over. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Paddy
lexington, I presume....as I cleared Louisville of all remaining stock over the past few months.grab one and try it!I will....eventually. I've always liked Dickel and keep it around. Bang for the buck, the 12 as well as the rye are hard to beat. Honestly, I've already got just way too much stuff unopened for me to talk myself into grabbing one right now. Thankfully, it appears that they plan on keeping this around for the long run. Renegator
Passed on Booker's 25th Anniversary. Was tempted but the $100 price tag was too much to overcome.
GreggJ
I do like Bookers and the 10yr is definitely intriguing. If it is still around the local when I stop in next week I fear it will be coming home with me. If I do I'll be certain to post my thoughts.Well Cross this off the pass list. Came home with it yesterday. Ended up getting bottle #04. Damn Pretty packaging hopefully the juice is as nice.

Richnimrod
Passed on another bottle of 'Grass Widow', from Two James Distillery in Detroit. Not their juice, obviously. Sourced from Indiana, I'm sure. Not bad, just not worth an extra bottle at $40 a throw. Their own stuff might be excellent. We'll see in due time, I trust. They only had one and I will be it is the only one in the town where I live. But 100$ is just too much right now.

Did i miss out?Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkIt's 100 proof whiskey for under $20 so it's a good deal. I personally like the flavor of it (had some last night, actually) but not everyone does. hn4bourbon
Got a call from a local store about a bottle of JPS 25 year rye for $180. Passed on it. Their allocation was 1 bottle.

I really like the stuff, and I would call it a bargain for $20.
