OGD114 @ $34.99. Just not ready to pay that much for it yet. I know I eventually will but the increases are making me more hesitant.

how much did it used to be, and did it go up everywhere there?

Its $21 here.....or least it was, I havent bought any since last summer so I might be surprised when I go back for more

batch 3 of ECBP? I'm hearing that's the best one so far.

What's interesting about ECBP is that its not a one-time thing. They're going to keep releasing it. I wonder how this will affect its sales and desireability.

First time I tried it last summer it was $22.99, every three months it just get's higher and higher, not just one store either.

I will say the one thing that hurts my two whiskey monger is that they do not have any storage space "out in the back".

Everything they have is on the shelf or make shift tables in the middle of the floor. So as they replenish their stock they are always paying the latest price from the distributor/producer.

Passed up a Bookers 25th at $99.99 at one store. Passed up a bottle of Weller 12 at $89.99, this was the same store trying to sell Lot B for 249.99 earlier in the year, probably the last time I will ever step foot in the store.

I would agree, I'd never go in there again, and tell others about it too. Really? $90 for W12?

I don't recall the exact amount, but pretty sure I saw it around here recently for sub-$25 still - if you want to take a drive down 75 and stock up :)

We'll meet you for lunch!

TT, I'm pretty sure you've posted other bourbons that have taken significant price jumps since you joined. I think they're on to you! ;)

Passed on a Hirsch Special Reserve 20 yr old for $179 & a GTS for $250.

Maybe one day I'll find a BTAC at a reasonable price.

6 bottles of Stagg Jr at $75. Every time I pass them by at this shop I note that I can get it reliably in Houston for $45, but I guess they take what the market will bear, and $75 is more than I will pay for it. $50 is a fair enough price.

Passed on a Bookers 25th at $110. A friend was in the Chicago area, and offered to pick one up for me. Just could not justify, at this time, another high price bottle un-tasted at that cost.

Passed on a bottle of OFBB 2009. I've got the 2012 and 2013 and really like them. But the '09 for $90? I think not! I had actually grabbed the bottle when I saw it and only then looked at the shelf. Damn near did a looney tunes-esqe double-take when I saw the price tag!

I'm a big fan of the store chosen 9 year I found in Ann Arbor (A&L Wine Castle) if that helps you at all...

Now that's just being cruel.

Passed up a gaggle of ECBP3 again today - I may not be able to say no next time even though I'm not drinking much bourbon these days

Passed on ER10 store select single barrel today. They had plenty of them so if anyone would like to know where to adopt these bottles, let me know.

depends.....if you like Dickel #12 but wished it had more oomph and a richer profile, you'll love it. If you plain don't like Dickel #12 though, I doubt you'd like it, as the family resemblance is strong. You guys know how much I love the stuff, though.

I go in my local store and always see the Stagg Jr. and ECBP for $90 each and I must always pass them up. I would love to buy them but to me, a $90 whiskey is an established favorite or an extremely special release

I really hope Oregon gets the orphan barrel releases so I can post in here about not buying them.

Id really like to try the 20 year orphan barrel, but I doubt Id ever see one on the shelf, or see it at retail price, or feel like paying $80 retail price anyway. $80 retail seems liek a decent price, I was surprised thats how they priced it, Id figured it'd be twice that. i havent seen any reviews yet anyway, who knows, it may taste like turpentine.

Passed on Bookers 25th. Went on sale in PA and I didn't bite. Ended up selling out in 30 min. I want to drink it, but I have a tough time with the asking price on this one.

Yesterday I passed on the PHC POH at $90 in favor of 1 each of ETL and ECBP for about $10 less total.
