Tony Santana
A.H. Hirsch 16 year humidor set, $1300+ Told my wife about it later. We got into a conversation about whether one would feel guilty about drinking it (she would, I wouldn't). Then she actually said I could buy it - if I agreed we could get another dog. I don't think it's going to happen.

I was looking at rescue dogs online last night; Id take every one of them if I could. But, usually, I prefer dogs to most people.maybe I shouldve gone to vet school instead........except I despise cats Edited March 2, 2014 by 393foureyedfox
Tony Santana
I won't stray any further than this off topic - but I've got one wife, two children and one dog. All seem like exactly the right number to me. YMMV.
Eskwar
Passed on these two yesterday. I've never heard of Whitmeyer's, and my alarm bells go off whenever producers start waving the Texas flag in my face. The Bowman was tempting (as I really like the port and gingerbread ones), but I decided I've really got to work on thinning the herd of bottles I've already got at home. I also passed on AE CS at the same store, priced at ~$195. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Kpiz
Looks like you also passed on Fighting Cock. Is it $11.29 or $21.29? Passed on these two yesterday. dcbt
I've never heard or seen Whitmeyers and I'm usually at least aware of most Texas brands, even the ones that are farces (which is most of them).
Quantum
I was looking at a bottle of PHC Promise of Hope, but I had to pass on it. It jumped from $140 to $200 while I was holding it, as the store owner informed me "That is collector item, because that guy gonna die soon!"Looks like I am officially done with that store. I put it back on the shelf but, may end up grabbing it once I read a couple more reviews. Any Thoughts???Ended up grabbing the last bottle of Stagg Jr for 1/2 the cost. (this one is growing on me. A couple weeks air time and it is pretty darn good stuff for the $)

Gonna have to dig up a sample or bar with it first.I have a really hard time passing something up when my preferred store sets something aside for me...9 times out of 10 it is something I want. But that other time I usually just grit my teeth and buy it anyways. I don't want the well to dry up after all.
