Settling down with a nice OGDbib and watching these fun KC Royals. Baseball and bourbon go together perfectly.

Ewsb 2004 tonight, snuck a nip into the movie Gone Girl. Good pour, has softened some with air. The movie was very good as well.

Glad you are enjoying it. Here's the fill level on mine. I've hit it pretty hard. Had to stash it away. fd942f177b9f0a97477fb8dc99609d0f.jpg

based on my sample you are going to have a hard time staying out of that one!

Loving some OGD 114. I am so glad despite all the social media, bourbon hype, etc - this hasn't disappeared from every shelf.

ECBP. Just got back from ultrasound and found out I'm having a girl. Already have a 2 year old boy. Completed the set! Couldn't be happier. Cheers boys!

4RSB OBSK. Just a wonderful spice box of a bourbon. It's helping me decipher James Joyce tonight or at least not care as much when I have no idea what he's talking about.

Pretty sure I would've liked to have a drink with Joyce but wouldn't wade through his prose again unless I was being paid.

Joyce is definitely up there on my historical figures I'd like a drink with.

As far as his prose goes, Dubliners and A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man are eminently readable. I'm currently slowly working my way through Ulysses however and it's definitely a different ball game. As for Finnegan's Wake, I'm not entirely convinced anyone has read the entire thing before.

Followed up the RHF last evening with a pour of the OF Prohibition bourbon. That OF release was actually quite good in my opinion. Big, bold flavor. Down to my last couple of pours of it.

Watched the Giants win last night. Another really entertaining game from start to finish. My start was OWA and my finish was OGD BiB. Both very enjoyable. The wife informed me that OGD 114 is still her favorite, but she likes the BiB too.

After going to Game 4 (GO ROYALS!) I had a couple celebratory pours of '13 PVW15 and VWFRR. That VWFR Rye is amazing stuff.

Go BLUE!

Very cool that you were at the game. Must have been a blast seeing a Championship win!

Celebratory pour of WLW.
