Last 6 bottles of Old Fitz BIB I could find in Louisville at my stores.
starkmoney = smart money. Smart move in picking them up. They are going the way of the doo-doo, or OC10, AAA10. :cool:
According to Josh, Bernie Lubbers at HH has very recently said that OF BIB will continue to be available...but, only in Kentucky, however.

KY, IL, and WI is what my friend was told by a CS rep at HH two weeks ago. I've purchased six liter bottles in the last two weeks. One is destined for my next trip to Brooklyn to drink with my best friend, whose grandmother worked in the distillery and used to take him to lunch in the cafeteria.

To get back on topic, we had a snow event today, and I bought a bottle of VOB6yr to get through it. Mixing it with Ale-8-One right now. I'll probably pour some of that OFBIB shortly.

Hopefully stores start getting stock back in. Its one of my favorite budget drinks. Also Ale-8-One is a fine soda, make sure its bottled in Winchester and not E-Town, the ones in E-town are just a recipie Coke bought.

Went into a store I hadn't been in before, and it was pretty much exactly like all other ABC stores in NC, so I just picked up a bottle of EC12. I know it's probably not a great price, but $27 out the door for a 12yo bourbon is ALWAYS a good deal, IMO.

That's about what it goes for around here unless it's on sale. A great value in my opinion.

shoot, I've seen it at the lowest at $30 here in Chicagoland. so that looks like a great price to me!

went looking for Bourbon yesterday at a few new stores, trying to find a new store that has rares and ended up getting a Col EH Taylor Single Barrel. haven't seen that around in a while. hope it was a good pick up!

I accidentally passed the barrel proof a month ago, I heard that is the way to go out of the 3 of them. I'm reading the reviews of the single barrel online right now, and a lot of them are unfavorable, so I hope this isn't the case once I pop it open and try it out. your thoughts on it are making me feel a bit better about my purchase tho!

The barrel proof 129 proof version is one of my favorite bourbons in my collection. It's amazing stuff.

I'd concur. It's one of my favorites. I had to drive a good ways to find a bottle. Definitely worth it though.

man, I'm gonna have to hope I can run into it again. the only reason I didn't pay much attention to it at the time was because there was an ETL on the shelf... and I never see that!

First post and fairly new to bourbon drinking.

Just celebrated my 40th b'day. The wife bought me a bottle of Maker's Mark, which I do like and have had before, but I wanted to try something new. Bought some Four Roses Single Barrel and Buffalo Trace at the Liquor store. Also tried Knob Creek Small Batch at a restaurant we ate at. I'm liking all of them. Difficult to choose but I may like the Four Roses the best.

Over the last couple of years I've started to get into whiskey drinking. I've probably had more Jack Daniels than any other brand. I've also had quite a bit of Woodford Reserve (which I really like). Bought a bottle of Jim Beam (white label) not too long ago and I guarantee I won't be buying it again. Fine for mixing with Coke or sweet and sour mix but I'm not fond of it neat or with ice. Looking forward to trying more brands!

Picked up my first bottle of Walking Stick(anyone had it?) and another replacement bottle of Rittenhouse Rye. My 3rd in the last 2 weeks. So good in an old fashioned!!

OWA 107. Apparently going to be scarce in these parts. NJ apparently got about 1/10th of what was pre-sold in the most recent delivery. Oh, and I picked up a Yellow Spot...not from the dog!
