KyleCBreese
Finished off my OFBB13. Unfortunately, don't have one to replace it. Moving on to the 2014 edition.

amg
Welllll.......the "hype" is manufactured. Why so many here, including myself, like ETL is because of the quality for the price. Or rather, what was the price. Due to consistently good reviews that drove up demand combined with BT's rolling shortages........now nobody can get it but everyone wants it. Hence, stores jacking up prices and people flipping it. It's not worth jacked up prices. Don't blame the whiskey for the hype.I paid around $33 the last time I got a bottle of it, and I like a lot of others better in that price range. I just think it's crazy that people are flipping this stuff.
LCWoody
Not a bad bottle. But I'm not going to pick up another.

It's not worth jacked up prices. Don't blame the whiskey for the hype.Mine was just $29 and I still didn't like it all that much. I tried a few other bottles hoping it was the single barrel factor but all of them were uninteresting. Then again, I don't even like Blanton's. I do have a sample of ETLC, hoping that will taste better.

bourbonfoot
Last pour for last episode of Donald Draper. Same treatment Raylan Givens and Walter White received. This was a 2011 bottle, which was outstanding to me. I have last year's too, which I've read isn't a good, but those aren't bad problems I suppose. jeffrey r
Finished off a store selection of ETL. Have several more in the bunker, but I pulled bottles of SAOS 7 and OF Sig out of the bunker to fill in the gap. The great bourbon circle of life--one bottle gets killed, two more get opened... fozzy71
Still on my mission to empty open bottles and not buy any new ones until the bunker is smaller, I decided to go with a 4oz pour of FC103 with an ice ball for the Se1 finale of The Flash. This was a really good bottle I think and I will definitely be buying more some day but only 1 or two of the bigger stores in the area stocks it. Paddy
Lost a pretty good PS HPS along with a W12 this week. I think that the HPS is an often overlooked stepchild of the BT MB #2, but given the bang for the buck when comparing to Blanton's, I think it's a no brainer grab and go when you see a PS bottle on a shelf. dcbt
I apologize in advance for my foolishness...What do 'PS' & 'HPS' stand for? I know how bad I am at these iials and acronyms. I wracked my poor brain for the translation and came up dry. I even searched; but couldn't find, these in the commonly used abbreviations/tips for newbies either. So, please take a moment and 'splain...?I think that's a private select Hancock. (Hancock President Reserve I think it is, though, which would be HPR.) Paddy may correct me, though. But given he's talking about BT mash bill #2 I feel pretty confident about that. Hancock is just not one that we talk about very often on these pages so the acronym takes a little deciphering.
amg
The last time I saw Hancock around here it was $50. Not interested at that price.
