Tonight I was working late & had a BT SB store pick , then EC12. Closed it up with a lagavulin as I finally finished up at the computer.

Some AAA 10 year tonight.  Great stuff...cheap.  Too bad this is only available in KY.

Going with a pour of Blanton's tonight. It's been a while and it's as good as I remember.

It isn't....  the 10 year is long gone.  The 10 star is still available, but is a shell of its former self.

So it's totally gone now huh?  Bummer.

I stayed with some jw Dant, and graduated to his older brother Henry McKenna

With leftover flank steak for dinner, we had Pikesville 110 w/Dolins Manhattans.  Post dinner, I turned to basic BT.  It is even good when sipped form a water glass.

Enjoying a pour of BT, it's been over a year, way to long. It's a SB store select. Nothing earth shattering but a pleasant nose and nothing offensive or overwhelming. Well balanced and humble.

Finish Kinda of reminds me of W12 and Blanton's not bold but neat and pleasant.

I had several pours out of my OGD114/WSR blend bottle. Damn this blend is good! There were previous comments regarding a name for this blend, and I think I have one: Grandpa Weller's Four Grain.

Just had a pour of stagg jr, jeffersons presidential 18 year, and parkers heritage promise of hope all for $22. Good to know some bars are still keepin it real. I will be back for more of that JP 18 that's for damn sure

Going with Blanton's again. Bottle is running low — too bad I won't replace it anytime soon since it's difficult to track down now (not to mention the increase in price).

Damn, I'd go back for some JP 18 too. I would be a regular there at those prices.

Does EWBIB taste better if they pour it from a parkers heritage bottle?

Ha! I was skeptical too but they weren't pulling any funny business. Although I will say that the parkers POH was good but nothing spectacular.... especially after having that JP18

Well done! I'm jealous of that JP 18.

Mr. Conspiracy Theory! I'm sure it does happen though. Most the bars around me crack the seal, because I want to know which BTAC to pick for that year. This year it was WLW & THH. Last year it was GTS, WLW, & Sazerac18. It always pays to try before you buy with the limiteds!

I've never been happy with any of the LE pours I've gotten at a bar.
