With Strasburg throwing batting practice and Brandon Phillips snagging everything in sight I went with the highest octane on the shelf- WT Rare Breed on the rocks.

I was at TWCP on Forsyth earlier and didn't see any of this. I'll check the other two locations this next week. I have a bottle of the OESF, which is a great pour.

I fear this one is long gone.

From last fall (2016).

Picked it up while collecting all 10 recipes last year.

Busy preparing a mushroom sauce for a couple fat ribeyes that will soon be on the grill, guzzling some HH bonded.

Enjoying my Rays taking the 2nd of 3 games so far this weekend against the BoSox -- a shutout mainly courtesy of Alex Cobb's fine starting pitching job.

Felt like some BT stuff, so started with a pour of ER 10, followed by the first pour of a new Stagg Jr Batch 7.  Both very enjoyable.

Hey Swamp55,

Bite me!   Once again, the BoSox' bats couldn't support a great pitching performance by our starters.  But we're still 3 1/2 games up on the d*mn Yankees . . . . . .

Now drinking vast quantities of 18 yr El Dorado rum now - that performance doesn't rate drinking a fine bourbon.

Hey GeeTen, at least we both have the Yankees to hate!

Oh yes I wanna get in on some Yankee hate.

Hate, hate, hate.

I cut the cable cord like 10 years ago but watching some Inter league Dodgers Royals baseball on FOX.

Also a little Smooth Ambler tonight. Kinda boring tonight, don't see myself buying another unless I get the inside scoop on a good barrel.

1980 lot 4. Back when it was marketed as "the most expensive bourbon in the world"

Enjoying this one. Had fun finding it last year and  even more fun getting to share it a few times.

The color on that, is stunning.

I hope to get the chance to enjoy the experience of this true classic, one day.

2 generous pours of CEHT SiB for me tonight. Good way to wrap up the day. Hope you all had a good one.

I've actually had the bottle a bit longer than that. I actually got much ribbing for buying the bottle at Beam following an ill conceived purchase at George Dickel with said smokinjoe. It was a long weekend and an even longer story.

I was actually surprised when Joe later bought a bottle of JBDM. I personally don't care for it nearly as much as Joe does. I'm pretty firmly in the no camp on wine finished bourbons.

Enjoying some 1792 - a private pick I've been kicking around for 2 yrs (was initially unimpressed as it tasted exactly like every 1792 retail bottling I'd ever had; but am now appreciating it for that very simplicity!)
