HoustonNit
Killing some bottles a low proof SAOS CS SB 11yr and a handle of W12. Getting close on both. Tough job but I'm drunk to it, mean up to it.

Hop
Decided tonight to revisit both the 2017 Parkers and GTS that I got last month. But first: I went with a pour of Pikesville since it's the BOTM and as always it didn't disappoint. Candy flavors on the front with the rye spice to back it up along with the higher proof and age coming through on the back end. Always a wonderful pour. Then I went with the Parkers: Honestly I wasn't terribly impressed with this years release when I tried it about a month ago but withheld judgement until I could try it again. Tonight I again wasn't terrible impressed. Nothing on the front of the tongue (usually where I pick up any sweet flavors - fruit etc...), all on the mid and back palate and while enjoyable at the finish not something I would say I truly enjoyed. Now on to the 17 GTS: Again on the first taste of this last month I wasn't terribly impressed. But tonight it came through very well with a lot of flavor and an incredible finish that I'm still tasting at least 5 minutes after the last sip. I'll revisit the Parkers again after a while but now I've moved on to what has previously been an excellent store pick of WA107 from earlier in the year. I usually don't move down in proof after I've been into the higher proof pours but am making an exception this evening.

I became an Astros fan after the Cubs debaucle. Houston did not dissapoint. Notice how everything went so badly for first Dodger's pitcher after Cuban tipped his hat? Then, many Dodgers left stranded on base. They couldn't get an RBI to save their lives. Then Dodgers got mad: tried to hit HR every pitch, easy to catch foul balls, guys getting fanned. Afterward, Astros guy proposed to his girl. priceless

Wedelstaedt
Onto SAOS SiB. Enjoyed a high proof earlier, now onto a lower proof. Both are barrel proofs. Very different pours, but both great Cheers. PS don't forget to turn your clock back ;-)

Bob_Loblaw
A small pour of Blanton's to start. Lots of bottles getting into the kill zone. Looking forward to the shelf space!

CardsandBourbon
Went to a retirement party, for me, but I'm not going until the end of next April. One of my co workers brought me a bottle of Old Tub which we started on. Next up was KC SmB, then 4R SmB and finished the afternoon with some MMCS 113.2 proof.
