It's my first bottle so I can't compare it to previous acts, but I like it a lot.  Has a great balance to it. Nice flavors, maybe candy apple? Nothing overpowering. Just enough spice and warmth without the burn. I'll have to pay closer attention next time to be more detailed. It's one of those you sip and think, "now THAT is a good one." Also, it's snowing in parts of San Antonio for like the 3rd time in 33 years so I had to...

This pic, and the snow, inspired me to break out one of my bottles, Act 4, Scene 3.  It tastes fantastic as always.

Enjoying some Russell's single barrel store pick tonight, trying to wash the Noah's mill (from my advent calendar) out of my mouth.

Fresh berries, cream, & vanilla on the Russell's.
Noahs still tastes like peanuts & death to me....

Locals running to their cars to get this bottle should go back inside... It's unfortunately gone.
But I'd share with you.  [emoji4]

Glad I’m not the only one who thinks Noah’s mill is ( on this day ) utterly appalling - I’ve had it in the past and not minded it ( read: not loved ) but today it tasted like rubbing alcohol, mulch, pine needles and tarmac...thank goodness for a glass of my wife’s makers to reset my palate

ECNAS PS tonight. A fine pour, but still not up to the standard of older Red Label EC12. I do need to finish this bottle to make room in the cabinet.

Cheers

I'm a fan of maker's Mark.  I enjoy it.

That's a great perspective right there.

Those bottles look black! What batch(es) is that?  Having some B517 tonight. I think my favorite batch was 12. I've got a couple 12s and a couple 11s in the bunker.

Must be the lighting. They are very dark, but not quiet black. Batches 5 - 12. Multiples of Batches 6, 8, 11, & 12. I have some more in a box somewhere...

^^^ I take that back. I wasn't convinced so asked to see the bottle. Turns out they had no clue what I wanted, picked the first HW they saw, and poured me a double rye. At least they comped the drink...

Some RY10SB great example of HH wheater. No idea why HH doesn't do there own older product. VSOF don't count.

Started with some ER10 single barrel, then a tad of ETL, followed by some CEHT barrel proof. Since I was in a BT frame of mind, i also slipped some Bourbon Cream in there too, with the wife.

Inspired by a fellow SBer who enjoyed some WT101 on a cold Houston night I had to get a pour of this.

I hate to admit it but that BT bourbon cream is insanely good...

A little Barterhouse after reading a few posts about it. It is nice.  I get a cherry/creme soda note tonight.

Sittin' here in my hotel near Georgia Tech sipping on a MMCS PS from Mac's (right around the corner).  Very nice sweet caramel with a drop of water - smoothed it out and the flavors that do linger quite a while.  [emoji3]

Do you think I'll survive very long tomorrow morning when I give the stoke briefing to a whole bunch of Georgia swimming officials wearing this t-shirt?????    [emoji185]

Somebody is predicting snow tonight here.  Poop.  Went to the garage to get the snow shovel in order to guarantee a light-to-nothing accumulation.  On the way back, stopped by the car trunk and grabbed a 750 of VOB BIB with "100" on the neck label in case the power goes out.  On the positive side, I found both my gloves.  Last winter I didn't find the second one until January 6th.

So you weren't two gloves to the wind tonight?
