Not really a purchase, but a good friend of mine picked this up and gave it to me today. Looking forward to opening it as the next 4R OESV. E0663CEC-6683-441D-AC60-0AA56C17A987.thumb.jpeg.679c1f9c21cc7011d4934ec44087e4c4.jpeg

You know there’s a huge debate on the inherent beauty of Indiana babies. Specifically all the mixing of unknown genes. But you definitely don’t have to worry about inbreeding. :D

Babies born in Indiana are quite beautiful.  I know one family who gave birth to children named Willett and Scout.  Rumor has it, they also have several illegitimate children.

Best Wishes on a speedy recovery.  This cold and flu season has been rough.  I rarely get a cold but this year I picked up something in early December and continue to fight through it.  Sick children are the worst because they really can't tell you what they need.  This looks similar to the TheraFlu we took which helped a lot.

Finding picks w/ 10 plus years on them isn’t as common. Bet thats a nice bottle.

That's interesting! The "normal" 4R Single Barrel is an OBSV. But normally it doesn't have the side label telling you it's an OBSV. All of the "normal" 4R Single Barrel are aged for a minimum of 8 years and are 100 proof.

Cheers!

Went down to Kansas City for a long weekend.  Asked a fellow SB member for LS suggestions.  Found a 750ml MMCS for $35, BT wheat white dog for $10, a good deal on a FRSmB, and after discussing all of their store picks but really more interested in wheated bourbons, a W12 for a very nice price, thanks to a LS manager.

Got some store picks at Total Wine today. Usually they don't have anything decent... got lucky today. The 4R SB OBSV is delicious!4e3e760080e8407a16414d47087ada2a.jpg9730fcf340edc52f3ac506ac9ba4a75a.jpg

Picked up a 375ML of MM CS from your favorite Houston liquor store for $17, glad I did, it’s great. Nice to have another high proof wheater on my shelf.

I dropped by my local Costco here in Albany, CA for the usual extreme quantities of toilet paper, paper towels, Irish butter, and found a few gems.  Noah's Mill for $44, Michters Rye for $36, and this one for $36.99, no side label with any other information. The necktie also was sans information.

Because that's the standard Single Barrel.  Nice price on it.

As Miller542 pointed out that's the standard single barrel (OBSV)

Stopped by a LS that has a pretty nice selection. Didn't see anything till I noticed a Yellow notebook hanging that said something like LE and rare whiskey list. Looked inside, found Elijah Craig Barrel Proof listed, asked for it and bought it. I've seen it much higher then the $80 I paid for it so it doesn't bother me that it was marked up.
