Radioyada
Slowly sipping on a pour of ECBP C917. The bottle just keeps getting better after sitting for a few months after the last pour.

Maybe, it was at its best after just one month, and it’s degraded since then and just getting worse?

Vosgar
Once again I'm surprised by how much I'm enjoying this older bottle of 6yr old VOB BIB. Not that it's anything earth shattering or overly complex, just a good, solid bourbon.

I really do, but this was a bit too much Thankfully today was a lot longer than my normal schedule. And that's why I'm drinking a lot more than usual too! BMartin42
Traveling by plane means I was limited to a bottle I could find here in Arizona. Not complaining by any means as I sit with my McKenna BIB and contemplate the beauty I saw today at the Grand Canyon. The Grand Cayon is still high on my list of not seen places . Sometimes when traveling to non exotic America, like Terre Haute Indiana, and the best thing to be had is Makers Mark, I am STILL happy! BTW, nothing wrong with Terre Haute.

Hmmm...Rittenhouse is the only bottle in my arsenal I can remember having that red hue and I love it. Maybe I should look for that more?
kemosabe
We hit the bottles hard last night as our whiskey club chose a barrel of BT for our local LS store pick. Drank some W12, EC, and a OBSV PS that a fellow bought for himself (whole barrel) through a LS he's friendly with. I don't think I'd ever buy an entire barrel - I'd get bored drinking the same thing for years & years.

Kane
Reception at work. Besides a wide selection of cheap beer and wine, they had many handles of age-stated JB Black. Yes please, I'll gladly take it. Had three.

So I picked up some green label. Still six years old at 90 proof. A nice pour. Very mellow, no water needed. 11.99. Bliss. A friend just brought me back two bottles. I'm looking forward to giving it a try. It will be tempting to also open some EW to compare.

It makes the Green label from HH seem mild. Edited April 6, 2018 by cdcdguy
