I managed to get 2 bottles so far, but I won't be keeping them....going to drink them:)

Not what I really meant. I should have said "winner" not "keeper" to clarify for you.

But good for you, on drinking them

Cheers

As for the ECBP, you better have your big Bourbon pants on when you pour from this bottle.  Every time I pour from this bottle, I find a new reason to enjoy the pour & be impressed.

It is a huge Bourbon and deserves all of the accolades.

Nice.

Speaking of Big Bourbon Pants, right now I'm enjoying a pour of Booker's.  Batch B95-C-31 to be exact.  Blast from the past.

FRYL since I have one open.  I was sort of surprised how quickly stores all have only the new label.  This stuff must be popular.

I saw this everywhere with the new bottle in France. Its 15-20 Euros probably the cheapest most readily available bourbon after Jack, with Jack more expensive. More common I felt than Jim Beam white label and only a close second to Jack in availability. I suspect the international market for this might have more to do with the new bottle than the domestic market.

Having some JB Black 8 year which I opened after opening a bottle of Weller. In the mood for something good but not to complex or high proof.

Time to crack a fresh favorite of mine.  It hasn't been very long since I had one open, but that's still too long for me.

That’s a great a batch, but they tend to have a bad cork, not this one though. Enjoy!

I need to log on more often. Currently sipping on a Buffalo Trace after having a Ild Fashioned with Rittenhouse.

Having a private barrel Whistlepig at the Gaylord Texan. Might be a touch larger than I bargained for.

Hmmm- is that a James Bond or PeeWee Herman bobblehead?

Bing Crosby, I think.

Looks like Darren McGavin's character from the movie "A Christmas Story " to me.

Cheers

Needed to pull out the big guns after 1st half of Bills and Texans football. The thunderstorm that’s dampened my idea to grill isn’t helping.

Received this bottle as a gift last night. It doesn't get talked about much (really ever) on here, but I find it to be a solid pour. Having a glass while hoping my Titans can pull out a W.

Not bourbon, but close enough, Pikesville 6y rye, opened my last bottle. It’s very good. Little pricey in Europe. Cheers!

Bingo! My late father in law and I had a great affinity for the movie A Christmas Story. I appreciated it, but my father in law lived it. The bobble head was a Xmas gift from my son.  :)

Should be 2017, either way yes this is great.

2017 is 127.2p

Good stuff as well.

I think the only one that just hasn't done it for me is the 2016.  Had a very different taste profile that I just didn't win me over.

Huh, I thought your Texans lost to the Patriots yesterday (not the Bills - folks from Western New York and New England probably all look alike to you Texicans) - but I could be very wrong . . . . . . . (heh, heh).  ☺️

Great pour for the game, tho'.  I'm jealous - was working all day.

Yeah sorry confusing was watching Texans but also a Bills fan. Texans as actually didn’t look all that bad after the slow first half start. I saw JJ ruffle Brady’s feathers which is always nice. Bills are a disaster, at least they put rookie QB Allen in, can’t get worse than this game. Needed the big guns for that outing.
